Abstract
A device includes a reservoir for holding an article that has thereon and a dispenser for dispensing the articles from the reservoir. A deactivation mechanism may deactivate medicament held within the reservoir.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 10 . (canceled)
11 . A device comprising:
a cartridge for holding articles to be dispensed; a dispenser for dispensing the articles from the cartridge; and a deactivation assembly that deactivates the articles remaining in the cartridge through a mechanism selected from among the group of: a hardening material, a neutralizing agent, a solvent, crushing mechanism, or mechanical mechanism.
12 . The device of claim 11 , further comprising a memory capable of storing inventory information about the articles, wherein the inventory information is the number articles loaded, dispensed, and remaining in the device.
13 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the deactivation assembly comprises a stored energy charge.
14 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the deactivation assembly for deactivating is triggered in response to environmental sensors.
15 . The device of claim 14 , wherein the environmental sensors are selected from among the group: motion, acceleration, impact, gyroscope, a wearable, GPS location, network connection, biometric, or elapsed time.
16 . The device of claim 12 , wherein the inventory information further comprises unique identifier information about the articles.
17 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the articles are pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals or recreational drugs.
18 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the mechanism for dispensing articles from the cartridge is controlled according to external authorization communicated to the device via selection from among: a mobile phone, a tablet, an internet connection, or a wearable.
19 . A device comprising:
a cartridge for holding articles selected from among the group of: pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals or recreational drugs; a dispenser for dispensing the articles from the cartridge; environmental sensors selected from among the group: motion, acceleration, impact, gyroscope, a wearable, GPS location, network connection, biometric, or elapsed time; and a memory capable of storing inventory information about the articles, wherein the inventory information is the number articles loaded, dispensed, and remaining in the device as a function of environmental sensor information.
20 . The device of claim 19 , further comprising an apparatus for deactivating the articles remaining in the cartridge, wherein the deactivation comprises: a hardening material, a neutralizing agent, a solvent, or a crushing mechanism.
21 . The device of claim 20 , wherein the apparatus for deactivating is triggered their response to environmental sensors the selected from among the group: motion, acceleration, impact, gyroscope, a wearable, GPS location, network connection, biometric, or elapsed time.
22 . The device of claim 19 , wherein the inventory information further comprises unique identifier information about the articles.
23 . The device of claim 19 , wherein the articles are in capsule, tablet, or liquid form.
24 . The device of claim 23 , wherein the liquid forms are held in containers selected from among a vial, a bottle, or a syringe.
25 . The device of claim 19 , wherein the dispenser for dispensing articles from the cartridge is controlled according to external authorization communicated to the device via selection from among: a mobile phone, a tablet, an internet connection, or a wearable.
26 . The device of claim 19 , wherein the dispenser for dispensing articles from the cartridge is controlled as a function of elapsed time.
27 . The device of claim 19 , wherein administration of the article is monitored.
28 . The device of claim 19 , wherein the inventory information is tracked in an external database.
29 . The device of claim 28 , wherein the database is selected from among the group: a blockchain, a distributed ledger technology, or a serialization database.Cited by (0)
