Abstract

In general, an indication is received through a user interface of an intention of a potential rider to use an autonomous vehicle. In response to the receipt of the indication, a hailing request is sent by a signaling mode to at least one autonomous vehicle that can receive the hailing request directly in accordance with the signaling mode.

1 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 receiving, from an origin user associated with an origin entity, respective selections of content accessible to corresponding first enterprise users, the first enterprise users being affiliated with different respective enterprises; and   receiving, from each first enterprise user, a selection of content accessible to one or more second enterprise users affiliated with the enterprise of the first enterprise user, in which the content accessible to the second enterprise users is restricted to the same content or a subset of the same content accessible to the first enterprise user.   
     
     
         2 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the content accessible to the corresponding first enterprise users comprises data. 
     
     
         3 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the content accessible to the corresponding first enterprise users comprises controls of a user interface of an application used by the origin entity and the enterprises. 
     
     
         4 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which data representing the selections of content accessible to the corresponding first enterprise users is stored on a server shared by the origin entity and the enterprises. 
     
     
         5 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which data representing the selections of content accessible to the corresponding first enterprise users is stored on separate servers corresponding to the respective enterprises. 
     
     
         6 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the content accessible to the first enterprise users comprises user interface controls for selecting the content accessible to the respective second enterprise users. 
     
     
         7 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which at least a portion of the content accessible to each first enterprise user is accessible only to users affiliated with the enterprise with which the first enterprise user is affiliated. 
     
     
         8 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the content accessible to each first enterprise user comprises user interface controls allowing the first enterprise user to set sub-enterprise scopes of content accessible to users affiliated with sub-enterprises of the enterprise with which the first enterprise user is affiliated. 
     
     
         9 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which each second enterprise user has access to content appropriate for a particular role within the enterprise with which the second enterprise user is affiliated. 
     
     
         10 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which each second enterprise user has access to content without regard to a particular role of the second enterprise user within the enterprise with which the second enterprise user is affiliated. 
     
     
         11 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the selection by each first enterprise user of content accessible to the second enterprise users automatically sets a selection of content accessible to one or more third enterprise users affiliated with the enterprise with which the first enterprise user is affiliated. 
     
     
         12 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the selection by each first enterprise user of content accessible to the second enterprise users is performed using a web page. 
     
     
         13 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the content accessible to each second enterprise user comprises user interface controls allowing the second enterprise user to select content accessible to one or more third enterprise users affiliated with the enterprise with which the second enterprise user is affiliated, and
 in which the content accessible to each of the respective third enterprise users is restricted to being the same as or a subset of the content accessible to the second enterprise user.   
     
     
         14 . The computer implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the content accessible to each first enterprise user comprises a user interface control allowing the first enterprise user to select, as content accessible to one or more third enterprise users affiliated with the enterprise with which the first enterprise user is affiliated, the content accessible to one of the second enterprise users. 
     
     
         15 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which receiving, from the origin user, respective selections of content accessible to corresponding first enterprise users comprises:
 receiving, from the origin user, a selection of the enterprise with which the first enterprise user is affiliated.   
     
     
         16 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which receiving, from each first enterprise user, a selection of content accessible to one or more second enterprise users affiliated with the enterprise of the first enterprise user comprises:
 presenting, to the first enterprise user, a list of user interface elements available for selection, in which the list of user interface elements includes only features accessible to the first enterprise user;   presenting, for each user interface element of the list, an indication of whether the user interface element is currently accessible to the second enterprise users;   receiving, from the first enterprise user, an indication that one of the user interface elements should be accessible to the second enterprise users; and   storing data representing that the one of the user interface elements is included in the selection of content accessible to the second enterprise users.   
     
     
         17 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the content accessible to the first enterprise users comprises features associated with delivery of medical services. 
     
     
         18 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which at least some of the first enterprise users are administrators of the respective enterprises with which the first enterprise users are affiliated. 
     
     
         19 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , in which the content accessible to the first enterprise users is presented as part of an application of which the first enterprise users are users. 
     
     
         20 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , comprising storing the selections of content in a database.
