Abstract

Systems and methods for facilitating online to offline commerce are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system configured to receive a request to check-in a customer at a merchant facility is disclosed. The system receives a request to access real-time pre-sale transaction data associated with a first customer and transmits the real-time pre-sale transaction data associated with the first customer to a mobile client device. The request to check-in and the request to access the real-time pre-sale transaction data are transmitted by the first mobile client device. The system is configured to authenticate the request to check-in at the merchant facility, process the request to access the real-time pre-sale transaction data, and responsively access the real-time pre-sale transaction data associated with the first customer from a point of sale device located at the merchant facility.

         8 . A host server system, comprising:
a memory; a processor coupled to the memory and configured to: receive, at the host server, from a first mobile client device of a first customer, a request for check-in at a merchant facility at which the first customer is engaged in a pre-sale transaction, wherein the request for check-in is verified based on location data generated by the first mobile client device; based on the request for check-in, identify, by the host server, a point-of-sale (POS) device in proximity to the first mobile client device at the merchant facility based on the location data; transmit, by the host server via the first network to the first mobile client device, a promotion that improves business associated with the merchant facility, wherein the promotion is based on the pre-sale transaction data; update, by the host server, a social network of the first customer based the request for check-in, said updating indicating that the first customer has checked-in at the merchant facility; receiving, at the host server, an order request from a second mobile client device of a second customer, the order request for an item of goods and/or services associated with the real-time pre-sale transaction data, wherein the second customer has been notified of the real-time pre-sale transaction data based on the check-in notification as updated to the social network; transmit, by the host server, to the first mobile client device of the first customer, a prompt for approval by the first customer of the order request; and wherein in response to receipt of approval from the first mobile client device, transmitting, by the host server system, the order request to the POS device at the merchant facility, for fulfillment by the merchant facility.

9 . The host server system of claim 8 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
based on the request for check-in, identify a point-of-sale (POS) device in proximity to the first mobile client device at the merchant facility; access, from the POS device, real-time pre-sale transaction data associated with the pre-sale transaction; and transmit the real-time pre-sale transaction data associated with the first customer to the first mobile client device for display to the first customer.

10 . The host server system of claim 8 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
