Abstract
An assembly of a machine for bending an elongated piece (T) and relevant support bench is described. The elongated piece (T) is supported by a spindle (3) that comprises a sleeve member (4) suitable to be connected to the elongated piece (T) to be bent, and a spindle frame (5) which rotatably supports the sleeve member (4). The spindle frame (5) is mounted on a platform (6) provided at its bottom with at least a spherical support (7) so that the spindle (3) is able to slide freely on a support bench (2), while the elongated piece (T) is bent.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An assembly of a machine for bending an elongated piece and relevant support bench, the elongated piece (T) being supported by a spindle ( 3 ; 37 ), characterized in that the spindle ( 3 ; 37 ) comprises a sleeve member ( 4 ) suitable to be connected to the elongated piece (T) to be bent, and a spindle frame ( 5 ) which rotatably supports the sleeve member ( 4 ) and is mounted on a platform ( 6 ; 38 ) provided at its bottom with at least a spherical support ( 7 ; 39 ) so that the spindle ( 3 ; 37 ) is able to slide freely on a support bench ( 2 ; 200 ), while the elongated piece (T) is bent.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the sleeve member ( 4 ) is rigidly connected to a goniometric disc ( 18 ), and a pointer ( 19 ) that indicates the angle of rotation of the cross section of the elongated piece (T) around its axis before being bent, faces the goniometric disc ( 18 ).
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein the pointer ( 19 ) is mounted freely oscillating on the spindle frame ( 5 ) by means of a ring ( 20 ) to which a counterweight ( 21 ) is fixed.
4 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein each spherical support ( 7 ; 39 ) is made by means of a sphere and a relative housing that is connected to the platform ( 6 ; 38 ).
5 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein each spherical support ( 7 ; 39 ) is made by means of a pivoting wheel that is connected to the platform ( 6 ; 38 ).
6 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the sleeve member ( 4 ) internally includes integrally a pair of jaws for clamping a circular cross-section elongated piece (T) to be bent.
7 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the sleeve member ( 4 ) internally includes integrally a pair of jaws ( 16 ) for clamping a not circular cross-section elongated piece (T) to be bent.
8 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said platform ( 6 ; 38 ) supports a plurality of encoders ( 23 ).
9 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the machine for bending the elongated piece (T) is a fixed radius bending machine ( 1 ).
10 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the machine for bending the elongated piece (T) is a variable radius bending machine ( 36 ).
11 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the fixed radius bending machine ( 1 ) comprises a rotatable support ( 27 ) for the elongated piece (T) to be bent, the rotatable support ( 27 ) including:
a roller ( 28 ) mounted rotatably on two end supports ( 29 ); a C-shaped support element ( 30 ), having a core ( 31 ) for supporting the two end supports ( 29 ), and wings ( 32 ) provided with slots ( 33 ); and a pi-shaped bracket ( 35 ) for adjustably supporting the height of the roller ( 28 ) along the slots ( 33 ) of the wings ( 32 ) of the C-shaped support element ( 30 ).
12 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the fixed radius bending machine ( 1 ) comprises a rotatable support ( 270 ) for the elongated piece (T) to be bent, the rotatable support ( 270 ) including:
a plurality of rollers ( 28 ) mounted rotatable on the upper side of two end frames ( 300 ) provided with slots ( 301 ), and pins ( 302 ) passing through said slots ( 301 ) and being integral with a pi-shaped bracket ( 350 ), each pin ( 302 ) being provided with a locking handle ( 304 ) to adjust the height of the plurality of rollers ( 28 ).Cited by (0)
