Goal and personal planning management application

Abstract

A goal management system, may include a memory configured to maintain a database of user inputted goal data, the goal data being acquired from users of a goal planning application, the goal planning application configured to provide inquiries to be responded to by the users in furtherance of goals of the users, and a controller configured to receive the user inputted goal data, present at least one admin screen including a plurality of selectable attributes and at least one user in a list of users associated with the user inputted goal data, receive selection of the at least one of the attributes, and update the list of users based on the selected at least one attribute to include users identified as requiring the at least one service provided by the third party service provider.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A goal management system, comprising:
 a memory configured to maintain a database of user inputted goal data, the goal data being acquired from users of a goal planning application, the goal planning application configured to provide inquiries to be responded to by the users in furtherance of goals of the users; and   a controller configured to
 receive the user inputted goal data, 
 present at least one admin screen including a plurality of selectable attributes and at least one user in a list of users associated with the user inputted goal data, wherein at least one of the selectable attributes is associated with at least a portion of the user inputted goal data and corresponds to at least one service provided by a third party service provider, 
 receive selection of the at least one of the attributes, and 
 update the list of users based on the selected at least one attribute to include users identified as requiring the at least one service provided by the third party service provider. 
   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , further comprising presenting at least one selectable drop down menu associated with each selectable attribute, the associated drop down menu displaying, in response to a user selection, at least a subset of further defined attributes related to the selectable attribute. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the user inputted goal data is received via a goal application presented to a user at a user device. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 3 , wherein the user device includes a goal application controller configured to present a series of screens to the user, at least a subset of the screens configured to present an inquiry to the user associated with a specific goal. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 4 , wherein the goal application controller is further configured to receive the user inputted goal data in response to the inquiry. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to transmit a to-do item for display to the user via the goal planning application. 
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 6 , wherein the controller is further configured to transmit the to-item in response to the user input meeting predefined criteria related to the to-do item. 
     
     
         8 . A goal management system, comprising:
 a memory configured to maintain a database of user inputted goal data; and   a controller configured to
 present a series of screens via a user interface to a user, wherein at least one of the screens presents an inquiry to the user associated with a specific goal, wherein the series of screens present inquiries associated with specific goal; 
 receive at least one user input in response to the inquiries, 
 determine whether each of the inquiries being completed, and 
 in response to each of the inquiries being completed, present a goal completed screen indicating that a goal has been achieved. 
   
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 8 , wherein the controller is further configured to present a goal screen including a plurality of goals for the user and updating a goal as achieved in response to each of the inquiries associate with that goal being completed. 
     
     
         10 . The system of  claim 8 , wherein the controller is further configured to present a to-do list screen including a list of items for a user to complete based on the user input to the inquiries, the list of items including recommended inquiries to be responded to by the user. 
     
     
         11 . The system of  claim 10 , wherein the controller is further configured to update the to-do list in response to user input that at least one of the items for the user to complete has been completed. 
     
     
         12 . The system of  claim 8 , wherein the controller is further configured to iteratively update a progress bar on the screen in response to user input to indicate a progress of the user with respect to the inquiries for the specific goal. 
     
     
         13 . The system of  claim 8 , wherein the goal includes at least one of a budget goal, debt goal and estate planning goal. 
     
     
         14 . A method for a goal management system, comprising:
 presenting a series of screens via a user interface to a user, wherein at least one of the screens presents an inquiry to the user associated with a specific goal, wherein the series of screens include inquiries associated with the specific goal;   receiving at least one user input in response to the inquiries;   determining whether each of the inquiries has been completed; and   in response to each of the inquiries being completed, presenting a goal completed screen indicating that a goal has been achieved.   
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 14 , further comprising presenting a goal screen including a plurality of goals for the user and updating a goal as achieved in response to each of the inquiries associate with that goal being completed. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 14 , further comprising presenting a to-do list screen including a list of items for a user to complete based on user input to the inquiries. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16 , further comprising updating the to-do list in response to user input that at least one of the items for the user to complete has been completed. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 4 , further comprising iteratively updating a progress bar on the screen in response to user input to indicate a progress of the user with respect to the inquiries for the specific goal. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 14 , wherein the goals include at least one of a budget goal, a debt goal, or an estate planning goal.
