Abstract
A system and method for real world biometric analytics through the use of a multimodal analytic wallet. The system includes a biometric wallet comprising a pervasive repository for storing biometric data, the pervasive repository including at least one of a biometric layer, a genomic layer, a health layer, a privacy layer, and a processing layer. The biometric wallet further comprises a biometric analytic interface configured to communicate the biometric data to one or more devices.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A biometric wallet comprising:
a pervasive repository embodied as a memory unit for storing user data, the pervasive repository including a biometric layer, a personal data layer, a privacy layer, and a processing layer; and a biometric analytic interface configured to communicate the user data to one or more devices and notify a user which acquisition devices attempted to obtain information about the user, and configured to permit the user to adjust privacy settings to allow one or more of the acquisition devices to access the user data.
2 . The biometric wallet of claim 1 , wherein the processing layer is configured to process locational data.
3 . The biometric wallet of claim 1 , wherein the processing layer is configured to process environmental data.
4 . The biometric wallet of claim 1 , wherein the biometric analytic interface provides for parallel acquisition and processing.
5 . The biometric wallet of claim 1 , wherein the biometric analytic interface includes a privacy policy.
6 . The biometric wallet of claim 1 , wherein the biometric analytic interface is configured to synch the pervasive repository to a central repository.
7 . The biometric wallet of claim 6 , wherein the central repository applies one or more algorithms to the biometric data.
8 . The biometric wallet of claim 1 , wherein the privacy layer is configured to distort one or more biometric features before authenticating the user.
9 . The biometric wallet of claim 8 , wherein the processing layer is configured to periodically compare the user's biometric data to the biometric data stored in the biometric wallet.
10 . A computer implemented method for using biometric data comprising: accessing user data comprising biometric data, and personal data, via an acquisition device; processing the user data; storing the user data in a biometric wallet including a biometric layer, a personal data layer, a privacy layer, and a processing layer; communicating the biometric data to one or more devices via a biometric analytic interface; notifying a user which acquisition device attempted to obtain information about the user; permitting adjustment of privacy settings to allow the acquisition device to access the user data via the biometric analytic interface; and verifying that the user data in the biometric wallet is from a user in possession of the biometric wallet, wherein the verifying is performed when the biometric wallet exceeds a predefined distance from the user.
11 . The computer implemented method of claim 10 , further comprising obtaining permission from the user to access the user data.
12 . The computer implemented method of claim 10 , wherein the acquisition device comprises one or more interfaces.
13 . The computer implemented method of claim 10 , wherein the steps of claim 10 are implemented on a combination of software, hardware, or software and hardware.
14 . The computer implemented method of claim 10 , wherein the steps of claim 10 are offered by a service provider based on one of a fee and subscription basis.
15 . The computer implemented method of claim 10 , wherein a service provider at least one of supports, deploys, maintains, and creates a computer infrastructure that performs the steps of claim 10 .
16 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the verifying is performed after a predefined period of time has elapsed.
17 . A computer program product comprising tangible computer-usable storage device having readable program code embodied in the tangible computer-usable storage device, the computer program product includes at least one component operable to: sense biometric data and store user data, in a pervasive repository having a privacy layer and a processing layer, a personal data layer, notify a user which of one or more acquisitions devices attempted to obtain information about the user, wherein: the privacy layer permits adjusting privacy settings to allow one or more acquisition devices to access the user data; the processing layer verifies that the user data in the pervasive repository is from a user in possession of the pervasive repository when the pervasive repository exceeds a predefined distance from the user; and the privacy layer distorts one or more biometric features before authenticating the user.
18 . The computer program product of claim 17 , further comprising at least one component operable to communicate the biometric data to one or more devices via a biometric analytic interface.
19 . The computer program product of claim 18 , wherein the biometric analytic interface is configured to synch the pervasive repository to a central repository.Cited by (0)
