Claims
Abstract
An adaptable, cleanable beverage container, generally for athletic use, with an enlarged opening at the top for depositing materials and flavors, a removable base for ease of cleaning, and an optionally insertable column removably connected to said removable base for securing a cooling or heating fluid or gel into the container. Optionally, the beverage container walls can be insulated with a hearing or cooling gel or other liquid for providing temperature control.

1 . A plastic container comprising:
a threaded open bottom portion defining a first outlet for said container; a sidewall portion joined to said threaded bottom portion, said sidewall portion comprising four face panels and at least one intermediate panel per said four face panels alternately arranged therearound, said intermediate panels being narrower in width than said face panels and being respectively connected at the vertical sides to said face panels, said four face panels and said at least one intermediate panels forming an octagon-like shape; and a top wall portion extending from said sidewall portion and merging to a threaded open neck defining an second outlet for said container, a handle being formed in said top wall portion; a threaded plastic base capable of sealing said first outlet of said container; and a threaded plastic cap capable of sealing said first outlet of said container.
2 . The plastic container according to claim 1 wherein said top wall portion and said sidewall portion contain an inner wall and an outer wall capable of receiving insulation.
3 . The plastic container according to claim 1 wherein said container is a one-gallon container.
4 . The plastic container according to claim 1 , furthering comprising:
A hollow container column sized to fit within said plastic container; said hollow container column containing a container column top, and a closed threaded container column bottom; said threaded plastic base contains a threaded center for receiving said threaded container column bottom; and said hollow container column and said threaded plastic base are operatively connected to seal said first outlet of said container.
5 . The plastic container according to claim 4 wherein said top wall portion and said sidewall portion contain an inner wall and an outer wall capable of receiving insulation.
6 . The plastic container according to claim 4 wherein said container is a one-gallon container.
7 . The plastic container according to claim 4 , wherein said hollow container column is perforated throughout the circumference of said hollow container column.
8 . The plastic container according to claim 1 , wherein said threaded plastic base and said threaded plastic cap contain a rubber seal.
9 . The plastic container according to claim 4 , wherein said threaded plastic base and said threaded plastic cap contain a rubber seal.
10 . The plastic container according to claim 4 , wherein said threaded container column bottom contains a rubber seal.Cited by (0)
