Compression Legging Apparatus

Abstract

A compression legging apparatus for therapeutic compression to relieve pain, fatigue, and swelling includes a legging body having a right leg portion, a left leg portion, and a waist portion. The legging body being is elasticized and is configured to create a continuously skintight and snugly compressive fit on a user's body. The waist portion extends to above the user's waistline adjacent the user's navel. The right leg portion has a right foot section extending to adjacent the user's right toes and a right heel cutout to expose the user's right heel. The left leg portion has a left foot section extending to adjacent the user's left toes and a left heel cutout to expose the user's left heel. A waistband is coupled to the waist portion. The waistband is elasticized and configured to create a tighter fit around the user's waistline.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A compression legging apparatus comprising:
 a legging body, the legging body having a right leg portion, a left leg portion, and a waist portion, the legging body being elasticized and configured to create a continuously skintight and snugly compressive fit on a user's body, the waist portion extending to above the user's waistline adjacent the user's navel;   the right leg portion having a right foot section extending to adjacent the user's right toes and a right heel cutout to expose the user's right heel;   the left leg portion having a left foot section extending to adjacent the user's left toes and a left heel cutout to expose the user's left heel; and   a waistband coupled to the waist portion, the waistband being elasticized and configured to create a tighter fit around the user's waistline.   
     
     
         2 . The compression legging apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising a plurality of reinforcement bands coupled to the right foot section and the left foot section, the plurality of reinforcement bands being coupled to the right foot section adjacent a right distal end thereof, around a perimeter of the right heel cutout, to the left foot section around a left distal end thereof, and around a perimeter of the left heel cutout, each of the reinforcement bands providing additional compression and preventing slippage. 
     
     
         3 . The compression legging apparatus of  claim 2  further comprising each of the plurality of reinforcement bands having a pair of outer foot hems. 
     
     
         4 . The compression legging apparatus of  claim 3  further comprising each of the outer foot hems having a hem width at least one-eighth of an overall width of the reinforcement band. 
     
     
         5 . The compression legging apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising the waistband having a waist hem coupled around an upper perimeter thereof. 
     
     
         6 . A compression legging apparatus comprising:
 a legging body, the legging body having a right leg portion, a left leg portion, and a waist portion, the legging body being elasticized and configured to create a continuously skintight and snugly compressive fit on a user's body, the waist portion extending to above the user's waistline adjacent the user's navel;   the right leg portion having a right foot section extending to adjacent the user's right toes and a right heel cutout to expose the user's right heel;   the left leg portion having a left foot section extending to adjacent the user's left toes and a left heel cutout to expose the user's left heel;   a waistband coupled to the waist portion, the waistband being elasticized and configured to create a tighter fit around the user's waistline, the waistband having a waist hem coupled around an upper perimeter thereof; and   a plurality of reinforcement bands coupled to the right foot section and the left foot section, the plurality of reinforcement bands being coupled to the right foot section adjacent a right distal end thereof, around a perimeter of the right heel cutout, to the left foot section around a left distal end thereof, and around a perimeter of the left heel cutout, each of the reinforcement bands providing additional compression and preventing slippage, each of the plurality of reinforcement bands having a pair of outer foot hems, each of the outer foot hems having a hem width at least one-eighth of an overall width of the reinforcement band.
