Device, method, and graphical user interface for media playback
Abstract
In accordance with some embodiments, a method is performed at a device with one or more processors, non-transitory memory, a display, and an input device. The method includes displaying, on the display, a playback status indicator regarding playback of a media item. The method includes displaying, on the display, an image associated with the media item. The method includes detecting an input interacting with the image. In response to a first portion of the input, the method includes adjusting the appearance of the image on the display in accordance with the first portion of the input. In response to a second portion of the input, the method includes changing playback of media items on the device in accordance with the input in accordance with the second portion of the input.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method comprising:
at a device with one or more processors, non-transitory memory, a display, and an input device:
while playing a first media item in a queue of media items, detecting a request to add a second media item to the queue; and
in response to detecting the request to add the second media item to the queue:
displaying a first affordance to add the second media item to the queue after the media items that are in the queue; and
displaying a second affordance to add the second media item to the queue after the first media item and before other media items that are in the queue.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
detecting, via the input device, a user input at a location corresponding to the first affordance; and in response to detecting the user input at the location corresponding to the first affordance, adding the second media item to an end of the queue.
3 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:
displaying an indication that the second media item has been added to the end of the queue.
4 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:
displaying, on the display, a list of elements including:
a first element, representing the first media item, that is displayed at a top of the list;
a second element, representing the second media item, that is displayed at a bottom of the list; and
other elements, representing remainder of the media items in the queue, that are displayed between the first element and the second element.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
detecting, via the input device, a user input at a location corresponding to the second affordance; and in response to detecting the user input at the location corresponding to the second affordance, adding the second media item to the queue after the first media item and before other media items that are in the queue.
6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising:
displaying an indication that the second media item will be played after the first media item has finished playing and before the other media items in the queue are played.
7 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising:
displaying, on the display, a list of elements including:
a first element, representing the first media item, that is displayed at a top of the list;
a second element, representing the second media item, that is displayed below the first element; and
other elements, representing remainder of the media items in the queue, that are displayed below the second element.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein detecting the request to add the second media item to the queue comprises:
displaying, on the display, a representation of the second media item while the first media item is being played; detecting, via the input device, a user input at a location corresponding to the representation of the second media item; and displaying the first affordance and the second affordance in response to detecting the user input at the location corresponding to the representation of the second media item.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first media item is a part of a playlist, and the second media item is not a part of the playlist.
10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first media item is a part of an album, and the second media item is not a part of the album.
11 . A device comprising:
a display; an input device; non-transitory memory; and one or more processors coupled with the display, the input device and the non-transitory memory, the one or more processors being configured to:
while playing a first media item in a queue of media items, detect a request to add a second media item to the queue; and
in response to detecting the request to add the second media item to the queue:
display a first affordance to add the second media item to the queue after the media items that are in the queue; and
display a second affordance to add the second media item to the queue after the first media item and before other media items that are in the queue.
12 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:
detect, via the input device, a user input at a location corresponding to the first affordance; and in response to detecting the user input at the location corresponding to the first affordance, add the second media item to an end of the queue.
13 . The device of claim 12 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:
display an indication that the second media item has been added to the end of the queue.
14 . The device of claim 12 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:
display, on the display, a list of elements including:
a first element, representing the first media item, that is displayed at a top of the list;
a second element, representing the second media item, that is displayed at a bottom of the list; and
other elements, representing remainder of the media items in the queue, that are displayed between the first element and the second element.
15 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:
detect, via the input device, a user input at a location corresponding to the second affordance; and in response to detecting the user input at the location corresponding to the second affordance, add the second media item to the queue after the first media item and before other media items that are in the queue.
16 . The device of claim 15 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:
display an indication that the second media item will be played after the first media item has finished playing and before the other media items in the queue are played.
17 . The device of claim 15 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:
display, on the display, a list of elements including:
a first element, representing the first media item, that is displayed at a top of the list;
a second element, representing the second media item, that is displayed below the first element; and
other elements, representing remainder of the media items in the queue, that are displayed below the second element.
18 . The device of claim 11 , wherein detecting the request to add the second media item to the queue comprises:
displaying, on the display, a representation of the second media item while the first media item is being played; detecting, via the input device, a user input at a location corresponding to the representation of the second media item; and displaying the first affordance and the second affordance in response to detecting the user input at the location corresponding to the representation of the second media item.
19 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the first media item is a part of a playlist, and the second media item is not a part of the playlist.
20 . A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions, which, when executed by an electronic device with a display, and an input device, cause the electronic device to:
while playing a first media item in a queue of media items, detect a request to add a second media item to the queue; and in response to detecting the request to add the second media item to the queue:
display a first affordance to add the second media item to the queue after the media items that are in the queue; and
display a second affordance to add the second media item to the queue after the first media item and before other media items that are in the queue.Cited by (0)
