Abstract

In an embodiment the method includes: determining, by a first communications device, a first subcarrier spacing corresponding to a first subband; and performing, by the first communications device, signal transmission on the first subband with a second communications device based on the first subcarrier spacing; or determining, by a first communications device, a second subcarrier spacing corresponding to a second subband; and performing, by the first communications device, signal transmission on the second subband with a second communications device based on the second subcarrier spacing. The first subcarrier spacing is different from the second subcarrier spacing, and both the first subcarrier spacing and the second subcarrier spacing are integral multiples of a basic frequency spacing; and both bandwidth of the first subband and bandwidth of the second subband are integral multiples of the basic frequency spacing.

1 . A communication method comprising:
 determining, by a first communications device, a first subcarrier spacing corresponding to a first subband;   performing, by the first communications device, signal transmission with a second communications device on the first subband based on the first subcarrier spacing; or   determining, by the first communications device, a second subcarrier spacing corresponding to a second subband; and   performing, by the first communications device, signal transmission with the second communications device on the second subband based on the second subcarrier spacing,   wherein the first subcarrier spacing is the same as the second subcarrier spacing, and both the first subcarrier spacing and the second subcarrier spacing are integer multiples of a basic frequency spacing, and   wherein both bandwidths of the first subband and the second subband are integer multiples of the basic frequency spacing.   
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the basic frequency spacing is a minimum subcarrier spacing in different subcarrier spacings, or   wherein the basic frequency spacing is less than the minimum subcarrier spacing and is exactly divided by the minimum subcarrier spacing.   
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein a frequency spacing between a center frequency of the first subband and a center frequency of the second subband is an integer multiple of the basic frequency spacing. 
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising notifying, by the first communications device, at least one of information about the first subband or information about the second subband when the first communications device is a network device. 
     
     
         5 . The method according to  claim 4 ,
 wherein the information about the first subband comprises at least one of bandwidth information of the first subband or information about the first subcarrier spacing,   wherein the information about the second subband comprises at least one of bandwidth information of the second subband or information about the second subcarrier spacing.   
     
     
         6 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprises receiving, by the first communications device, at least one of information about the first subband or information about the second subband when the first communications device is a terminal device. 
     
     
         7 . The method according to  claim 6 , wherein determining, by the first communications device, the first subcarrier spacing corresponding to the first subband comprises determining, by the first communications device, the first subcarrier spacing based on the received information about the first subband, or wherein determining, by the first communications device, the second subcarrier spacing corresponding to the second subband comprises determining, by the first communications device, the second subcarrier spacing based on the received information about the second subband. 
     
     
         8 . A network device comprising:
 a memory configured to store instructions; and   a processor configured to execute the instructions stored in the memory and, when executed by the processor, cause the network device to:
 determine a first subcarrier spacing corresponding to a first subband; 
 perform signal transmission with a second communications device on the first subband based on the first subcarrier spacing; or 
 determine a second subcarrier spacing corresponding to a second subband; and 
 perform signal transmission with the second communications device on the second subband based on the second subcarrier spacing, 
   wherein the first subcarrier spacing is the same as the second subcarrier spacing,   wherein both the first subcarrier spacing and the second subcarrier spacing are integer multiples of a basic frequency spacing, and   wherein both bandwidths of the first subband and the second subband are integer multiples of the basic frequency spacing.   
     
     
         9 . The network device according to  claim 8 ,
 wherein the basic frequency spacing is a minimum subcarrier spacing in different subcarrier spacings, or   wherein the basic frequency spacing is less than the minimum subcarrier spacing and is exactly divided by the minimum subcarrier spacing.   
     
     
         10 . The network device according to  claim 8 , wherein a frequency spacing between a center frequency of the first subband and a center frequency of the second subband is an integer multiple of the basic frequency spacing. 
     
     
         11 . The network device according to  claim 8 , wherein the instructions further cause the network device to notify at least one of information about the first subband or information about the second subband. 
     
     
         12 . The network device according to  claim 11 , wherein the instructions stored further cause the network device to:
 determine the first subcarrier spacing based on the received information about the first subband; or   determine the second subcarrier spacing based on the received information about the second subband.   
     
     
         13 . The network device according to  claim 11 ,
 wherein the information about the first subband comprises at least one of bandwidth information of the first subband or information about the first subcarrier spacing, or   wherein information about the second subband comprises at least one of bandwidth information of the second subband or information about the second subcarrier spacing.   
     
     
         14 . A terminal device comprising:
 a memory configured to store instructions; and   a processor configured to execute the instructions stored in the memory and, when executed by the processor, cause the terminal device to:
 determine a first subcarrier spacing corresponding to a first subband; 
 perform signal transmission with a second communications device on the first subband based on the first subcarrier spacing; or 
 determine a second subcarrier spacing corresponding to a second subband; and 
 performing signal transmission with the second communications device on the second subband based on the second subcarrier spacing, 
   wherein the first subcarrier spacing is the same as the second subcarrier spacing,   wherein both the first subcarrier spacing and the second subcarrier spacing are integer multiples of a basic frequency spacing, and   wherein both bandwidths of the first subband and the second subband are integer multiples of the basic frequency spacing.   
     
     
         15 . The terminal device according to  claim 14 ,
 wherein the basic frequency spacing is a minimum subcarrier spacing in different subcarrier spacings, or   wherein the basic frequency spacing is less than the minimum subcarrier spacing and is exactly divided by the minimum subcarrier spacing.   
     
     
         16 . The terminal device according to  claim 14 , wherein a frequency spacing between a center frequency of the first subband and a center frequency of the second subband is an integer multiple of the basic frequency spacing. 
     
     
         17 . The terminal device according to  claim 14 , wherein the instructions further cause the terminal device to receive at least one of information about the first subband or information about the second subband. 
     
     
         18 . The terminal device according to  claim 17 , wherein the instructions further cause the terminal device to:
 determine the first subcarrier spacing based on the received information about the first subband; or   determine the second subcarrier spacing based on the received information about the second subband.   
     
     
         19 . The terminal device according to  claim 17 ,
 wherein the information about the first subband comprises at least one of bandwidth information of the first subband or information about the first subcarrier spacing, and   wherein information about the second subband comprises at least one bandwidth information of the second subband or information about the second subcarrier spacing.
