Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. An in-bottle finishing bottle of a distilled spirit, comprising:
a bottle having an opening and containing a distilled spirit and a visible, wood piece in the distilled spirit; a lid closing the opening; a seal over the lid; and a label, wherein the wood piece provides a finishing for the distilled spirit according to a flavor profile, and the label indicates the flavor profile.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 1 , wherein the distilled spirit is an aged distilled spirit.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 1 , wherein the flavor profile is based on a type of wood, a toast level, and a char level of the wood piece.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 1 , wherein the wood piece is a spire.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 1 , wherein the flavor profile is based on a spirit the wood piece rests in before the wood piece is placed in the bottle.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 5 , wherein the spirit the wood piece rests in is a different spirit than the distilled spirit in the bottle.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 5 , wherein the spirit the wood piece rests in is beer.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 5 , wherein the spirit the wood piece rests in is wine.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 1 , wherein the wood piece is a first wood piece and the bottle includes at least one more wood piece in the distilled spirit.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 9 , wherein the first wood piece is of a first wood type and the at least one more wood piece is of a second wood type different than the first wood type.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 1 , wherein the wood piece is cut from a wood barrel that was previously used for aging of a spirit.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 1 , wherein the distilled spirit is bourbon.
. An in-bottle finishing bottle of an aged distilled spirit, comprising:
a bottle having an opening and containing an aged distilled spirit and a visible, wood spire in the distilled spirit; a lid closing the opening; a seal over the lid; and a label, wherein the wood spire provides a finishing for the aged distilled spirit according to a flavor profile based on one or more of a type of wood, a toast level, or a char level of the wood spire, and the label indicates the flavor profile.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 13 , wherein the flavor profile is further based on a spirit the wood spire rests in before the wood spire is placed in the bottle.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 14 , wherein the spirit the wood spire rests in is a different spirit than the age distilled spirit in the bottle.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 13 , wherein the wood spire is one of multiple wood pieces in the aged distilled spirit.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 16 , wherein the multiple wood pieces include at least two different types of wood.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 13 , wherein the wood spire touches a bottom of the bottle.
. An in-bottle finishing bottle of a spirit, comprising:
a bottle having an opening and containing a spirit and a visible, wood piece in the spirit; a lid closing the opening; a seal over the lid; and a label, wherein the wood piece provides a finishing for the spirit according to a flavor profile of the wood piece, and the label indicates the flavor profile.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 19 , wherein the spirit is a beer.
. The in-bottle finishing bottle as recited in claim 19 , wherein the spirit is a wine.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
