Air purifier

Abstract

A humidifying air purifier includes a door assembly supported and configured to be selectively drawn out of a front side of a cabinet and drawn into the front side of the cabinet to respectively open and close an inner portion of the cabinet. The door assembly includes an accommodation portion configured to support an air filter and a humidifying device which are both drawn out of and into the humidifying air purifier with the door assembly.

         2 . A humidifying air purifier comprising:
 a cabinet;   a door assembly movably coupled to the cabinet and configured to open and close a front side opening of the cabinet;   a door lower surface portion forming a bottom of the door assembly;   an air filter assembly disposed on the door lower surface portion and including an air filter configured for purifying air; and   an intake formed on the door lower surface portion in front of a lower end of the air filter, the intake being configured for the passage of air into the air filter.   
     
     
         3 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , wherein the air filter is inclined with respect to the door lower surface portion. 
     
     
         4 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , wherein the intake is formed on the door lower surface portion at an acute angle with respect to the air filter. 
     
     
         5 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , wherein the air filter inclines in a direction in which the door assembly is pulled out from the cabinet during opening. 
     
     
         6 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , wherein the intake is formed at a position defined as an orthogonal projection of the air filter with respect to the door lower surface portion. 
     
     
         7 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , wherein the intake is positioned at an area of the door lower surface portion corresponding in a direction of gravity from a front surface of the air filter. 
     
     
         8 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , wherein the intake is positioned in a front portion of the door lower surface portion. 
     
     
         9 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , further comprising:
 a door front surface portion forming a front of the door assembly,   wherein the air filter assembly is positioned rearwardly spaced apart from the door front surface portion.   
     
     
         10 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 9 , wherein a minimum distance between the air filter assembly and the door front surface portion decreases at positions further upward from the intake. 
     
     
         11 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , wherein the air filter assembly is disposed on the door lower surface portion. 
     
     
         12 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , further comprising:
 a plurality of panels forming an exterior of the cabinet and the door assembly,   wherein at least one of the plurality of panels is formed of wood.   
     
     
         13 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 2 , wherein the door lower surface portion includes an air filter seating portion positioned behind the intake and on which the air filter assembly is seated. 
     
     
         14 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 13 , wherein the air filter seating portion includes a jaw protruding upward to support a rear end of the air filter assembly. 
     
     
         15 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 14 , further comprising:
 a door side surface portion on each side of the door assembly,   wherein the door side surface portion includes:   a filter guide extending forward at an oblique predetermined angle (α 1 ) from the air filter seating portion; and   a filter support portion extending in a direction of the door side surface portions from the filter guide and supporting the air filter assembly.

The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 15 , wherein each door side surface portion further includes a guide rib extending upward from the air filter seating portion to guide insertion of the air filter assembly, each guide rib being bent rearward at an upper portion of the guide rib. 
     
     
         17 . A humidifying air purifier comprising:
 a cabinet;   a door assembly configured to be taken out of the cabinet or inserted into the cabinet;   an air filter assembly including an air filter for purifying air, the air filter assembly being configured to support the air filter obliquely relative to the door assembly; and   an air blowing fan coupled to the cabinet behind the air filter assembly,   wherein the door assembly includes:   a door front surface portion configured to shield an open front side of the cabinet;   a door lower surface portion extending to a rear of the door front surface portion, and including a filter seating portion supporting the air filter assembly; and   an air intake formed at a position corresponding to the door lower surface portion in a direction of gravity from the obliquely arranged air filter, and positioned in front of the filter seating portion.   
     
     
         18 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 17 , further comprising a discharge portion formed on an upper surface of the cabinet and configured to discharge air in an upward direction.

The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 17 , wherein the door assembly further includes a door side surface portion including a filter guide extending in an oblique direction in which the door assembly is taken out from the cabinet, and a filter support portion protruding from the filter guide to support a front of the air filter assembly,
 wherein the air filter assembly further includes an air filter case supporting the air filter, and   wherein the air filter case is configured to slide along the filter support portion and the filter guide, and extends obliquely so that an upper surface is disposed in front of a lower surface.   
     
     
         20 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 17 , wherein the air filter assembly is configured to be installed by sliding insertion or extraction of the door assembly in a diagonal direction toward the filter seating portion. 
     
     
         21 . The humidifying air purifier according to  claim 17 , wherein the door lower surface portion further includes a water tub seating surface positioned behind the filter seating portion,
 wherein the filter seating portion is positioned higher than the water tub seating portion.
