Stimulation device

Abstract

Stimulation devices are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a housing including a chamber. The housing defines an opening to the chamber. The example apparatus includes a flexible material protruding from the opening and configured to sealingly engage a portion of a body of a user including a clitoris. The example apparatus includes a drive unit disposed in the housing. The drive unit is to cause a volume of the chamber to alternate between a first volume and a second volume, the alternating volume of the chamber to cause pressure in the chamber to modulate between positive pressures relative to an ambient pressure and negative pressures relative to the ambient pressure. The modulated positive pressures and negative pressures are to be applied to the portion of the body via the opening.

         31 . An apparatus comprising:
 a housing including a chamber, the housing defining an opening to the chamber;   a flexible material protruding from the opening and configured to sealingly engage a portion of a body of a user including a clitoris; and   a drive unit disposed in the housing, the drive unit to cause a volume of the chamber to alternate between a first volume and a second volume, the alternating volume of the chamber to cause pressure in the chamber to modulate between positive pressures relative to an ambient pressure and negative pressures relative to the ambient pressure, the modulated positive pressures and negative pressures to be applied to the portion of the body via the opening.   
     
     
         32 . The apparatus of  claim 31 , wherein the flexible material is to cover at least a portion of the housing that includes the opening. 
     
     
         33 . The apparatus of  claim 31 , wherein the chamber includes a wall and wherein the wall and the flexible material form one piece. 
     
     
         34 . The apparatus of  claim 31 , wherein the chamber includes a wall, the wall to sealingly separate the opening from the drive unit. 
     
     
         35 . The apparatus of  claim 31 , wherein a portion of the housing including the drive unit is wider than the opening. 
     
     
         36 . The apparatus of  claim 31 , further including a control unit, the drive unit to control a frequency of the modulation in response to a user input. 
     
     
         37 . The apparatus of  claim 31 , wherein the chamber is to have a first shape when the chamber has the first volume and a second shape when the chamber has the second volume, the first shape different than the second shape. 
     
     
         38 . The apparatus of  claim 31 , wherein the flexible material includes one or more of a rubber material or silicone. 
     
     
         39 . The apparatus of  claim 31 , wherein the chamber includes a wall and wherein the drive unit is to cause at least a portion of the wall to move to cause the pressure in the chamber to modulate between the positive pressures and the negative pressures relative to the ambient pressure based on a stimulation pattern. 
     
     
         40 . A stimulation device comprising:
 a housing including:
 a chamber; and 
 an opening to the chamber, the opening configured to sealingly engage a portion of a body of a user including a clitoris; 
   means for changing a volume of the chamber disposed in the housing, the means for changing to cause the volume of the chamber to alternate between a first volume, the first volume associated with positive pressures in the chamber relative to an ambient pressure, and a second volume, the second volume associated with negative pressures in the chamber relative to the ambient pressure, the positive pressures and the negative pressures to be applied to the portion of the body via the opening; and   a controller disposed in the housing, the controller to actuate the means for changing in response to a user input.   
     
     
         41 . The stimulation device of  claim 40 , wherein the means for changing includes an electric motor. 
     
     
         42 . The stimulation device of  claim 40 , wherein the chamber includes a wall, the means for changing to cause the wall to move between a first position and a second position, the chamber having the first volume when the wall is in the first position and the second volume when the wall is in the second position. 
     
     
         43 . The stimulation device of  claim 42 , wherein the means for changing includes a shaft, the shaft operatively coupled to the wall to cause the wall to move between the first position and the second position. 
     
     
         44 . The stimulation device of  claim 40 , wherein the means for changing the volume is to cause the volume of the chamber to alternate between the first volume and the second volume at a first frequency in response to the user input. 
     
     
         45 . The stimulation device of  claim 40 , further including a flexible material supported by the housing, the flexible material to surround at least a portion of the opening. 
     
     
         46 . A stimulation device comprising:
 a housing including a chamber, the chamber including a wall;   a flexible material including an opening and configured to sealingly engage a portion of a body of a user including a clitoris, the opening to provide a flow path for the chamber; and   a drive unit disposed in the housing, the drive unit to cause at least a portion of the wall to move to cause pressure in the chamber to modulate between positive pressures relative to an ambient pressure and negative pressures relative to the ambient pressure, the modulated positive pressures and negative pressures to be applied to the portion of the body via the opening, the wall to form a fluid seal between the drive unit and the opening.   
     
     
         47 . The stimulation device of  claim 46 , wherein the opening is a sole opening to the chamber to an exterior of the housing. 
     
     
         48 . The stimulation device of  claim 46 , wherein the flexible material is at least partially disposed in the chamber. 
     
     
         49 . The stimulation device of  claim 46 , wherein the housing includes a water resistant material. 
     
     
         50 . The stimulation device of  claim 46 , wherein the flexible material and a material defining the wall are the same. 
     
     
         51 . The stimulation device of  claim 46 , wherein the wall is deformable.
