Abstract

Compositions and methods for treating tissue are provided. The compositions may include tissue matrix derived from adipose tissue suitable for injection, small-volume implantation, or use as a soft-tissue regenerative material. Also provided are methods for producing such compositions.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A tissue product, comprising:
a particulate tissue matrix composition comprising adipose acellular tissue matrix particles having a longest dimension between about 0.05 mm and 3 mm, the particles comprising a micro-porous structure derived from a porous sponge from which the particles are produced, wherein the sponge is formed from a stabilized suspension of mechanically processed adipose acellular tissue.

2 . The tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the stabilized suspension comprises between about 2% to about 10% solid adipose acellular tissue matrix by weight.

3 . The tissue product of claim 2 , wherein the stabilized suspension comprises between about 2% to about 5% solid adipose acellular tissue matrix by weight.

4 . The tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the particles are dry.

5 . The tissue product of claim 1 , further comprising a flowable carrier.

6 . The tissue product of claim 5 , wherein the flowable carrier comprises an aqueous fluid.

7 . The tissue product of claim 6 , wherein the flowable carrier comprises saline.

8 . The tissue product of claim 6 , wherein the tissue product comprises between 80-95% by weight water.

9 . The tissue product of claim 6 , wherein the tissue product comprises between 90-98% by weight water.

10 . The tissue product of claim 6 , wherein the tissue product comprises between 95-98% by weight water.

11 . The tissue product of claim 6 , wherein the tissue product comprises between 5% and 15% by weight adipose tissue matrix protein.

12 . The tissue product of claim 6 , wherein the tissue product comprises between 5% and 12% by weight adipose tissue matrix protein.

13 . The tissue product of claim 5 , wherein the flowable carrier is a flowable hyaluronic acid carrier.

14 . The tissue product of claim 13 , wherein the hyaluronic acid is non-cross-linked.

15 . The tissue product of claim 13 , wherein the hyaluronic acid is cross-linked.

16 . The tissue product of claim 13 , wherein the tissue product comprises particulate tissue matrix and hyaluronic acid at a ratio of between 9:1 and 4:1 by volume.

17 . The tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the particles comprise a longest dimension between 50 microns to 4 mm.

18 . The tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the particles comprise a longest dimension between 1.5 mm to 4 mm.

19 . The tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the particles comprise a longest dimension between 2 mm to 3.5 mm.

20 . The tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the particles comprise a longest dimension between 2 mm to 3 mm.
