COMPUTING SYSTEM PROVIDING DIRECT ROUTING FOR DESKTOP AS A SERVICE (DaaS) SESSIONS TO A PRIVATE NETWORK AND RELATED METHODS
Abstract
A method may include establishing a first direct route to a gateway appliance from session clients each associated with a respective Desktop as a Service (DaaS) session run by a virtual session controller within a computing network, and establishing a second direct route from the gateway appliance to a virtual session connector within at least one private enterprise computing network. The method may also include relaying private enterprise network data between the session clients and the virtual session connector through the gateway appliance via the first direct route to each session client and the second direct route to the virtual session connector.
Claims

21 . A computer system comprising:
memory; a network interface configured to couple to a network; and at least one processor coupled to the memory and the network interface and configured to
request, via the network interface, one or more tokens from a gateway coupled to a plurality of networks comprising the network and at least one private network, at least one of the one or more tokens corresponding to the at least one private network,
receive, via the network interface, the one or more tokens from the gateway,
initiate one or more desktop as a service (DaaS) sessions comprising one or more session clients,
provide the one or more tokens to the one or more session clients,
establish, via the network interface, one or more direct routes between the one or more session clients and the gateway, the one or more direct routes being based on the one or more tokens, and
communicate data from the plurality of networks between the one or more session clients and the gateway via the network interface and the one or more direct routes.
22 . The computer system of claim 21 , the one or more session clients comprising one or more virtual private network (VPN) clients.
23 . The computer system of claim 22 , the one or more tokens comprising one or more keys for the one or more VPN clients.
24 . The computer system of claim 23 , the one or more VPN clients being configured to create one or more full tunnels to the gateway for communication of the data from the plurality of networks.
25 . The computer system of claim 24 , the data from the plurality of networks comprising data from the at least one private network.
26 . The computer system of claim 21 , the one or more direct routes comprising one or more Transmission Control Protocol routes.
27 . The computer system of claim 21 , the one or more DaaS sessions being configured to communicate internet requests to the gateway via the one or more direct routes.
28 . The computer system of claim 21 , the at least one processor being further configured to execute a session controller configured to:
request the one or more tokens; receive the one or more tokens from the gateway; and initiate the one or more DaaS sessions.
29 . The computer system of claim 21 , further comprising the gateway, the gateway comprising a gateway service and the at least one processor being further configured to execute the gateway service.
30 . A method comprising:
requesting, by a computer system, one or more tokens from a gateway coupled to a plurality of networks comprising at least one private network, at least one of the one or more tokens corresponding to the at least one private network, receiving, by the computer system, the one or more tokens from the gateway, providing the one or more tokens to one or more sessions accessible by one or more clients, and establishing, via the computer system, one or more direct routes between the one or more sessions and the gateway with use of the one or more tokens.
31 . The method of claim 30 , further comprising initiating one or more virtual private network (VPN) clients within the one or more sessions.
32 . The method of claim 31 , the requesting the one or more tokens comprising requesting one or more keys for the one or more VPN clients.
33 . The method of claim 32 , the initiating the one or more VPN clients comprising establishing one or more full tunnels to the gateway.
34 . The method of claim 31 , further comprising communicating data from the at least one private network between a VPN client of the one or more VPN clients and the gateway via a direct route of the one or more direct routes.
35 . The method of claim 30 , the establishing one or more direct routes comprising establishing one or more Transmission Control Protocol routes.
36 . The method of claim 30 , further comprising communicating internet requests to the gateway via the one or more direct routes.
37 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions to implement a process of accessing data within one or more private networks from one or more desktop as a service (DaaS) sessions hosted by a computer system coupled to a public network, the medium comprising instructions to:
request one or more tokens from a gateway coupled to a plurality of networks comprising the public network and the one or more private networks, each of the one or more tokens corresponding to one of the one or more private networks; receive the one or more tokens from the gateway; initiate the one or more DaaS sessions, each of the one or more DaaS Sessions comprising one of one or more session clients; provide the one or more tokens to the one or more session clients; establish one or more direct routes between the one or more session clients and the gateway, the one or more direct routes being based on the one or more tokens; and communicate data from the one or more private networks between the one or more session clients and the gateway via the one or more direct routes.
38 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 37 , the instructions to initiate the one or more DaaS sessions comprising instructions to initiate one or more virtual private network (VPN) clients.
39 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 38 , the instructions to request the one or more tokens comprising instructions to request one or more keys for the one or more VPN clients.
40 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 39 , the instructions to initiate the one or more VPN clients comprising instructions to establish one or more full tunnels to the gateway for communication of the data from the one or more private networks.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
