Abstract
Embodiments of the invention relate to a method of making a mineral product. The method includes contacting a carboxylic acid and an inorganic mineral compound sufficient to form a solution, reacting the solution over a period of time sufficient to provide a mineral chelated compound, transferring the mineral chelated compound to one or more molds prior to the compound substantially solidifying and reducing the size of the mineral chelated compound sufficient to provide a rapidly soluble mineral chelated product.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A mineral product for stimulating microbes in soil to increase growth of a plant, the mineral product comprising:
a cobalt chelate compound and larch arabinogalactan, wherein the cobalt chelate compound is a reaction product of an inorganic cobalt compound and a carboxylic acid and wherein the mineral product increases at least one of total aerobic plate count and Azotobacter count on soil.
2 . The mineral product of claim 1 , wherein the mineral product is provided in a form of particles, a powder, or an aqueous solution.
3 . The mineral product of claim 1 , wherein the cobalt chelate compound includes a cobalt lactate compound.
4 . The mineral product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more of a zinc lactate compound, a copper lactate compound, and a manganese lactate compound.
5 . The mineral product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more metal sulfate compounds.
6 . The mineral product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more of a zinc sulfate compound, a manganese sulfate compound, and a copper sulfate compound.
7 . The mineral product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more of a zinc lactate compound, a copper lactate compound, and a manganese lactate compound.
8 . The mineral product of claim 7 , further comprising one or more metal sulfate compounds.
9 . The mineral product of claim 7 , further comprising one or more of zinc sulfate and manganese sulfate.
10 . The mineral product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more of zinc lactate and manganese lactate.
11 . The mineral product of claim 10 , further comprising one or more metal sulfate compounds.
12 . The mineral product of claim 10 , further comprising a zinc sulfate compound.
13 . The mineral product of claim 12 , further comprising at least one of a copper lactate compound, a copper sulfate compound, and a manganese sulfate compound.
14 . The mineral product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more of a zinc lactate compound and a manganese lactate compound.
15 . The mineral product of claim 14 , further comprising one or more metal sulfate compounds.
16 . The mineral product of claim 14 , further comprising a zinc sulfate compound.
17 . The mineral product of claim 16 , further comprising at least one of a copper lactate compound and a copper sulfate compound.
18 . The mineral product of claim 1 , further comprising one or more of the following:
at least one carrier, at least one fiber, and at least one enzyme.
19 . A method of stimulating microbes in soil to increase growth in a plant, the method comprising: applying the mineral product of claim 1 to soil in a lawn, a garden, a pasture, or a field to increase at least one of total aerobic plate count and Azotobacter count in the soil.
20 . A method of stimulating microbes in soil to increase growth in a plant, the method comprising: applying the mineral product of claim 5 to soil in a lawn, a garden, a pasture, or a field to increase at least one of total aerobic plate count and Azotobacter count in the soil.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
