Abstract
A composition for the creation of a protective barrier on a wide variety of materials to prevent the deterioration and degradation caused by exposure to moisture and sun over time.

A method for applying a rust inhibition composition to a surface of an inorganic object to be treated, the method comprising: providing a solid form rust inhibition composition comprising of a mixture of: carnauba wax; 1,2,4 trimethylbenzene; a glycerol ester of C14, C18 fatty acids; mink oil; glycerol monooleate; tallow; Stoddard solvent; mineral spirits; mineral oil; and a fragrance; heating the surface of an iron containing inorganic object to be treated to a temperature warm enough to melt or liquefy the solid form rust inhibition composition on contact; applying the rust inhibition composition to the heated surface of the inorganic object to be treated, keeping the surface warm during the applying; and cooling the surface of the inorganic object to be treated back to room temperature after the step of applying.
