Abstract

Nitroalkene non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compounds, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, and methods of treating inflammation related conditions.

         3 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of  claim 1  and a carrier.

         wherein R is hydrogen or a C 1-11  alkyl, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

         6 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of  claim 4  and a carrier.

         12 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of  claim 10  and a carrier. 
     
     
         13 . A method of treating inflammation related conditions comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a nitroalkene nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NA-NSAID). 
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the nitroalkene nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug is selected from the group consisting of:

         16 . A method of treating inflammation related conditions comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a nitroalkene nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NA-NSAID) and a carrier. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein the nitroalkene nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug is selected from the group consisting of:
