Side opening storage box

Abstract

A side opening storage box includes a body having an opening on the peripheral wall thereof and provided with a buckle structure, and a side cover provided with a positioning structure and a pivot structure. The pivot structure is movably pivoted to the position of the peripheral wall corresponding to the opening so that the side cover can be deflected relative to the peripheral wall to close or open the opening. The positioning structure is detachably installed on the buckle structure to position the side cover on the peripheral wall, achieving the purpose of simple use, convenient access to storage items for users, and improvement of the practicality of the storage box.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A side opening storage box, comprising:
 a body comprising a top, a bottom and a peripheral wall ringed between said top and said bottom, said peripheral wall comprising an opening and a buckle means adjacent to said opening; and   a side cover comprising a positioning means and a pivot means, said pivot means being movably pivoted to the position of said peripheral wall corresponding to said opening so that said side cover is deflectable relative to said peripheral wall to close or open on said opening, said positioning means being detachably connected to said buckle means, said positioning means comprising a hook, said hook comprising a beveled edge, said beveled edge facing the position corresponding to said buckle means.   
     
     
         2 . The side opening storage box as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said side cover is movable between a first position and a second position; when said side cover is to be deflected and closed at said opening, said side cover is first moved to said first position, so that said positioning means is offset to said buckle means, until the side cover is completely closed to said opening, said side cover is then moved to said second position, and said positioning means is then embedded in said buckle means to lock said side cover to said peripheral wall.

The side opening storage box as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said peripheral wall of said body comprises an elongated guide groove; said pivot means is located in said elongated guide groove and movable along said elongated guide groove relative to said opening of said body. 
     
     
         4 . The side opening storage box as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said side cover is detachably installed on said peripheral wall of said body. 
     
     
         5 . The side opening storage box as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said peripheral wall is provided with a metal reinforcement corresponding to the position of said side cover.
