Abstract

A mattress sheet stay apparatus for securing fitted sheets to a mattress includes an upper frame having an upper head portion, an upper foot portion, an upper left portion, and an upper right portion. The upper frame is configured to conform to a perimeter of a mattress. A lower frame has a lower head portion, a lower foot portion, a lower left portion, and a lower right portion. The lower frame conforms to the upper frame. A plurality of vertical sections is coupled between the upper frame and the lower frame. Each vertical section is configured to conform to a height of the mattress. Each of the upper frame, the lower frame, and the vertical sections have a high coefficient of friction.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A mattress sheet stay apparatus comprising:
an upper frame, the upper frame comprising an upper head portion, an upper foot portion, an upper left portion, and an upper right portion, the upper frame being planar wherein the upper frame is configured to conform to a perimeter of a mattress; a lower frame, the lower frame comprising a lower head portion, a lower foot portion, a lower left portion, and a lower right portion, the lower frame being planar and vertically aligned and spaced relative to the upper frame such that the lower frame is parallel with the upper frame; and a plurality of vertical sections coupled to said extending between the upper frame and the lower frame, each vertical section being configured to conform to a height of the mattress wherein the upper frame, lower frame and vertical sections define a rectangular prismatic frame configured to extend around the mattress whereby the upper frame, lower frame and vertical sections are positioned to enhance frictional engagement of a sheet to the mattress when the sheet is positioned over the mattress.

2 . The mattress sheet stay apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the plurality of vertical sections being four vertical sections extending between a plurality of corners of each of the upper frame and the lower frame.

3 . The mattress sheet stay apparatus of claim 2 further comprising the corners of each of the upper frame and the lower frame being rounded.

4 . The mattress sheet stay apparatus of claim 1 further comprising each of the upper frame, the lower frame, and the vertical sections being silicon.

5 . The mattress sheet stay apparatus of claim 1 further comprising each of the upper frame, the lower frame, and the vertical sections having a circular cross-section.

6 . A mattress sheet stay apparatus comprising:
an upper frame, the upper frame comprising an upper head portion, an upper foot portion, an upper left portion, and an upper right portion, the upper frame being planar wherein the upper frame is configured to conform to a perimeter of a mattress; a lower frame, the lower frame comprising a lower head portion, a lower foot portion, a lower left portion, and a lower right portion, the lower frame being planar and vertically aligned and spaced relative to the upper frame such that the lower frame is parallel with the upper frame; and a plurality of vertical sections coupled between the upper frame and the lower frame, each vertical section being configured to conform to a height of the mattress wherein the upper frame, lower frame and vertical sections define a rectangular prismatic frame configured to extend around the mattress whereby the upper frame, lower frame and vertical sections are positioned to enhance frictional engagement of a sheet to the mattress when the sheet is positioned over the mattress, the plurality of vertical sections being four vertical sections extending between a plurality of rounded corners of each of the upper frame and the lower frame; wherein each of the upper frame, the lower frame, and the vertical sections is silicon and has a circular cross-section.
