System and method for transmitting and processing group message in a store

Abstract

A system and method may transmit and process a group message in a store. For example, the system and method may transmit and process the group message in the store, in which tables in the store are set in a section unit, and a group message can be transmitted to one or more electronic devices of staff in charge of each section, thus to provide the best service to customers.

         26 . A system for processing a group message in a store, comprising:
 a first electronic device associated with one of tables of the store, the first electronic device configured to receive a service request from a customer and transmit a service request signal corresponding to the received service request to an access point (AP);   the AP configured to receive the service request signal from the first electronic device, and transmit table number information and the received service request signal;   a message server configured to receive the table number information and the service request signal from the AP, generate a service message corresponding to the service request signal, and transmit to an operation server the table number information and the service message corresponding to the service request signal; and   the operation server configured to:   receive, from the message server, the table number information and the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device,   transmit the table number information and the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device to at least one of second electronic devices associated with at least one of staffs in charge of a table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device,   check whether or not acceptance or rejection of processing the received service request is received from the at least one of second electronic devices associated with the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronics device for a predetermined time, and   when the operation server receives the rejection of processing the received service request or does not receive the acceptance of processing the received service request from the at least one of second electronic devices associated with the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronics device for the predetermined time, transmit the table number information and the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device to a third electronic device associated with another of the staffs.   
     
     
         27 . The system according to  claim 26 , wherein:
 the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device includes importance or priority of the service request, and   the at least one of second electronic devices associated with the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device is configured to sort and display the service message according to the importance or priority of the service request included in the service message received from the operation server.   
     
     
         28 . The system according to  claim 27 , wherein the importance or priority of the service request included in the service message is determined based on time lapsed from the service request.

The system according to  claim 26 , wherein the message server is configured to, when the service message has failed to be transmitted to the at least one of second electronic devices or there is one second electronic device among the second electronic devices in the table group section including the one of table associated with the first electronic device, detect at least one fourth electronic device which is in charge of a preset section among remaining table group sections other than the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device, and transmit the table number information and the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device to the at least one fourth electronic device which is in charge of the preset section among the remaining table group sections other than the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device. 
     
     
         30 . The system according to  claim 26 , wherein the operation server is configured to, when one of the staffs other than the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device has performed the service request before the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device performs the service request, transmit information regarding that the service request has been performed to the at least one of second electronic devices associated with the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device. 
     
     
         31 . The system according to  claim 26 , wherein:
 the message server is configured to analyze the received service request signal, and, when the analyzed service request signal is a preset urgent message, request the operation server to transmit the table number information of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device, and transmit the urgent message to all of the second electronic devices carried by all of the staffs of the store, and   the operation server is configured to receive a request to transmit the urgent message from the message server to all of the second electronic devices carried by all of the staffs, and transmit the table number information and the urgent message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device to all of the second electronic devices carried by all of the staffs of the store.   
     
     
         32 . A method for processing a group message in a store, comprising:
 receiving, by a first electronic device associated with one of tables of the store, a service request from a customer, and transmitting, by the first electronic device, a service request signal corresponding to the received service request to an access point (AP);   receiving, by the AP, the service request signal from the first electronic device, and transmitting, by the AP, table number information and the received service request signal;   receiving, by a message server, the table number information and the service request signal from the AP, generating, by the message server, a service message corresponding to the service request signal, and transmitting, by the message server, to an operation server the table number information and the service message corresponding to the service request signal;   receiving, by the operation server, from the message server, the table number information and the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device, and transmitting, by the operation server, the table number information and the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device to at least one of second electronic devices associated with at least one of staffs in charge of a table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device;   checking, by the operation server, whether or not acceptance or rejection of processing the received service request is received from the at least one of second electronic devices associated with the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronics device for a predetermined time; and   when the operation server receives the rejection of processing the received service request or does not receive the acceptance of processing the received service request from the at least one of second electronic devices associated with the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronics device for the predetermined time, transmitting, by the operation server, the table number information and the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device to a third electronic device associated with another of the staffs.   
     
     
         33 . The method according to  claim 32 , wherein:
 the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device includes importance or priority of the service request, and   the method further comprises sorting and displaying, by the at least one of second electronic devices associated with at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device, the service message according to the importance or priority of the service request included in the service message received from the operation server.   
     
     
         34 . The method according to  claim 33 , wherein the importance or priority of the service request included in the service message is determined based on time lapsed from the service request.

The method according to  claim 32 , further comprising, when the service message has failed to be transmitted to the at least one of second electronic devices or there is one second electronic device among the second electronic devices in the table group section including the one of table associated with the first electronic device, detecting, by the message server, at least one fourth electronic device which is in charge of a preset section among remaining table group sections other than the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device, and transmitting, by the message server, the table number information and the service message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device and including the importance or priority of the service request to the at least one fourth electronic device which is in charge of the preset section among the remaining table group sections other than the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device. 
     
     
         36 . The method according to  claim 32 , further comprising, when one of the staffs other than the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device has performed the service request before the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device performs the service request, transmitting, by the operation server, information regarding that the service request has been performed to the at least one of second electronic devices associated with the at least one of staffs in charge of the table group section including the one of tables associated with the first electronic device. 
     
     
         37 . The method according to  claim 32 , further comprising:
 analyzing, by the message server, the received service request signal, and when the analyzed service request signal is a preset urgent message, requesting, by the message server, the operation server to transmit the table number information of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device and transmit the urgent message to all of the second electronic devices carried by all of the staffs of the store, and   receiving, by the operation server, a request to transmit the urgent message from the message server to all of the second electronic devices carried by all of the staff, and transmitting, by the operation server, the table number information and the urgent message of the one of tables associated with the first electronic device to all of the second electronic devices carried by all of the staffs of the store.
