Abstract

A pharmaceutical composition contains an integrin binding fragment for Laminin which is selected from the group consisting of Laminin 511 and Laminin 411 for treating or preventing a disease, disorder, or symptom of a tooth dentin and/or pulp or pulp tissue. A method of producing a hard tissue transplantation material includes the steps of culturing odontoblast in the presence of an integrin binding fragment for the Laminin which selected from the group consisting of Laminin 511 and Laminin 411 and obtaining a culture of odontoblast and inducing calcification or mineralization of the culture of odontoblast so as to obtain the hard tissue transplantation material.

1 . A pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing a disease, disorder, or symptom of a tooth dentin and/or pulp or pulp tissue, the composition comprising an integrin binding fragment for Laminin which is selected from the group consisting of Laminin 511 and Laminin 411. 
     
     
         2 . The pharmaceutical composition according to  claim 1 , wherein the composition further comprises porous hydroxyapatite or type I collagen. 
     
     
         3 . A method of producing a hard tissue transplantation material, comprising:
 culturing odontoblast in a presence of an integrin binding fragment for Laminin which is selected from the group consisting of Laminin 511 and Laminin 411 and obtaining a culture of odontoblast; and   inducing calcification or mineralization of the culture of odontoblast so as to obtain the hard tissue transplantation material.   
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 3 , wherein the culturing of odontoblast is performed on a culture surface which is coated with the integrin binding fragment for Laminin selected from the group consisting of Laminin 511 and Laminin 411. 
     
     
         5 . The method according to  claim 4 , wherein a coating density of the integrin binding fragment is 1 to 8 μg/cm 2 . 
     
     
         6 . The pharmaceutical composition according to  claim 1 , wherein the composition has a function to treat or prevent the disease, disorder or symptom of the tooth dentin and/or pulp tissue including dental caries. 
     
     
         7 . The pharmaceutical composition according to  claim 2 , wherein the composition has a function to treat or prevent the disease, disorder or symptom of the tooth dentin and/or pulp tissue including dental caries.
