Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for treatment or prevention of infectious inflammatory diseases comprising tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase as an active ingredient, and a composition for immune enhancement. More specifically, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treatment or prevention of infectious inflammatory diseases comprising tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase as an active ingredient, a food composition for preventing or improving, a veterinary composition for preventing or treating, and a composition for immune enhancement comprising a tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase as an active ingredient, respectively. The composition of the present invention can be effectively used for preventing or treating diseases of humans and animals caused by infection from bacteria, viruses or fungi and the like by inhibiting infections such as bacterial, viral, and fungal infections at an early stage particularly through activating innate immune response.

A composition for preventing or treating an infectious inflammatory disease in a subject caused by a virus, a bacterium, or fungus comprising tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase as an active ingredient, wherein the tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase is selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:2, SEQ ID NO:3, SEQ ID NO:4, SEQ ID NO:5, SEQ ID NO:6, SEQ ID NO:7, and SEQ ID NO:8 and wherein the tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase induces neutrophil accumulation in the body of the subject.
14 . The composition of claim 13 , wherein the composition is a pharmaceutical composition or a veterinary composition.
15 . The composition of claim 13 , wherein the composition is a food composition.
