Abstract
A method can include: mapping an avatar of a user to a physical body of the user; representing a target area of pain, injury, or disease within the avatar; applying a visual therapy to the target area; and the targeted area responding to the visual therapy.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method, comprising:
mapping an avatar of a user to a physical body of the user; representing a target area of pain, injury, or disease within the avatar; applying a visual therapy to the target area; and the targeted area responding to the visual therapy.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising the user using a tool to treat a symptom area on the user's avatar.
3 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising the user representing the symptom area on the user's avatar.
4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising a clinician reviewing progress of the user over time based on the user's avatar.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising the user mapping a pain sensation prior to wound care.
6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising a clinician applying a treatment visualization by “erasing” a portion of the user's avatar.
7 . A system, comprising:
a neural input output device (NIOD) implanted in a user; a real-time engine communicatively coupled with the NIOD; and a three-dimensional (3D) object communicatively coupled with the NIOD.
8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the 3D object is a physical object.
9 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the 3D object is a virtual object.
10 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the 3D object has a plurality of attributes.
11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein each of the plurality of attributes is selected from the group consisting of: texture, temperature, and mass.
12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the 3D object is configured to deliver attribute data to the real-time engine.
13 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the real-time engine is configured to deliver sensory data to the NIOD.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the user experiences the sensory data.
15 . A method, comprising:
mapping an avatar of a user to a physical body of the user; and the user grasping a compressed telescoped limb at a base of a stump of the compressed telescoped limb.
16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising the user grasping the compressed telescoped limb at the base of the stump of the limb.
17 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising the user pulling the limb out from the compressed position to its normal length.
18 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising providing a virtual view of the user pulling the limb out from the compressed position to its normal length.Cited by (0)
