Abstract

A kit for projecting an image onto an architecture is provided. The kit includes projectors each including a housing containing an image sensor sub-system and an image projector sub-system; a lens assembly in cooperation with the image sensor sub-system or the image projector sub-system; a port for receiving and/or sending data signals; and a processor operably connected to the image sensor sub-system, the image projector sub-system, and the at least one port of the projector apparatus. The plurality of projectors include a line of sight to each of a plurality of surfaces of the architecture in which the image is to be projected. A mechanism is configured to mount one or more of the plurality of projectors in a fixed orientation prior to a rendering of the image to be projected. A control unit includes a housing, a port for receiving and/or sending data signals, and a processor.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A kit for projecting an image onto an architecture comprising:
 a plurality of projectors each comprising:
 a housing containing an image sensor sub-system and an image projector sub-system,
 a lens assembly in operable cooperation with at least one of the image sensor sub-system or the image projector sub-system,
 at least one port for receiving and/or sending data signals, and
 at least one processor operably connected to the image sensor sub-system, the image projector sub-system, and the at least one port of the projector apparatus;
   wherein the plurality of projectors comprise a line of sight to each of a plurality of surfaces of the architecture in which the image is to be projected; a mechanism configured to mount one or more of the plurality of projectors in a fixed orientation prior to a rendering of the image to be projected; and a control unit comprising a housing, at least one port for receiving and/or sending data signals relating to the image, and a processor operably connected to the at least one port of the control unit.

         2 . The kit according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of the plurality of surfaces of the architecture is non-coplanar and non-adjacent to another one of the plurality of surfaces of the architecture.

         3 . The kit according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of surfaces of the architecture forms a circle.

         4 . The kit according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of surfaces of the architecture forms a rectangle.

         5 . The kit according to claim 1 , wherein the control unit further comprises a memory slot for receiving an external memory device.

         6 . The kit according to claim 1 , wherein the control unit controls the operation of the plurality of projectors.

         7 . The kit according to claim 1 , wherein the control unit is configured to switch from one of the plurality of projectors to another one of the plurality of projectors.

         8 . The kit according to claim 1 , wherein the each of the projectors adjustably mounts to at least one of the mounting mechanisms.

         9 . A system for projecting an image onto an architecture comprising:
 a plurality of projectors each comprising:
 a housing containing an image sensor sub-system and an image projector sub-system,
 a lens assembly in operable cooperation with at least one of the image sensor sub-system or the image projector sub-system,
 at least one port for receiving and/or sending data signals, and
 at least one processor operably connected to the image sensor sub-system, the image projector sub-system, and the at least one port of the projector apparatus;
   wherein the plurality of projectors comprise a line of sight to each of a plurality of surfaces of the architecture in which the image is to be projected; a mechanism configured to mount one or more of the plurality of projectors in a fixed orientation prior to a rendering of the image to be projected; and a control unit comprising a housing, at least one port for receiving and/or sending data signals relating to the image, and a processor operably connected to the at least one port of the control unit.

         10 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein at least one of the plurality of surfaces of the architecture is non-coplanar and non-adjacent to another one of the plurality of surfaces of the architecture.

         11 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the plurality of surfaces of the architecture forms a circle.

         12 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the plurality of surfaces of the architecture forms a rectangle.

         13 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the control unit further comprises a memory slot for receiving an external memory device.

         14 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the control unit controls the operation of the plurality of projectors.

         15 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the control unit is configured to switch from one of the plurality of projectors to another one of the plurality of projectors.

         16 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the each of the projectors adjustably mounts to at least one of the mounting mechanisms.
