System and method for maneuvering a data acquisition device based on image analysis
Abstract
A system for measuring physiological parameters, including: a portable measurement system, operable to acquire physiological measurement from an examined body location; an external camera operable to capture visible light, oriented toward the examined body location; a synchronization module, operable to receive a triggering indication, and in response to the triggering indication to associate to the physiological measurement a positioning image captured by the camera, the positioning image including at least a part of the portable measurement system adjacent to the examined body location; and a communication module operable to obtain the physiological measurement and the positioning image, and to transmit to a remote system: a physiological measurement record based on the physiological measurement, an orientation image based on the positioning image, and including at least a part of the portable measurement system adjacent to the examined body location, and association data associating the orientation image and the physiological measurement record.

receiving (a) a plurality of physiological measurement records of a plurality of physiological measurements acquired at different positions with respect to a body of a patient by a portable measurement system, (b) for each of the physiological measurement records, a respective orientation image being indicative of a location of the portable measurement system with respect to the body of the patient at a time of acquiring the respective physiological measurements, and (c) association data associating each orientation image with a corresponding physiological measurement record of the plurality of physiological measurement records; storing the plurality of physiological measurement records, the plurality of orientation images, and the association data on a data repository; retrieving from the data repository, based on the association data, a selected physiological measurement record and at least one matching orientation image; and, displaying the at least one matching orientation image in combination with providing information of the selected, physiological measurement record.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of physiological measurements acquired at different positions with respect to the body of the patient are directed to the same patient's organ.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data repository is a tangible memory.

The method according to claim 1 , wherein the retrieving step includes the following steps: (a) displaying a plurality of orientation images associated with different physiological measurement records; (b) receiving a selection indication indicative of a selection made by a user of at least one orientation image of the plurality of orientation images displayed; and, (c) retrieving the physiological measurement records associated with the selected orientation image.

The method according to claim 1 , wherein the retrieving stop includes the following steps: (a) displaying identifiers of a plurality of physiological measurement records; (b) receiving a selection indication indicative of selection made by a user of an identifier of a physiological measurement record of the plurality of physiological measurement records; and (c) retrieving the physiological measurement record associated with the selected identifier.

The method according to claim 1 , wherein the displaying step includes the following steps: (a) displaying a video including the plurality of orientation images; (b) retrieving from the data repository the physiological measurement records; and (c) synchronizing providing information of the different physiological measurement records with the displaying of .
7 . one matching orientation image in combination with providing information of the selected physiological measurement record to a user is made through a user interface.

A system for physiological monitoring comprising a processing circuitry receive (a) a plurality of physiological measurement records of a plurality of physiological measurements acquired at different positions with respect to a body of a patient by a portable measurement system, (b) for each of the physiological, measurement records, a respective orientation image being indicative of a location of the portable measurement system with respect to the body of the patient at a time of acquiring the respective orientation image being indicative of a location of the portable orientation image with a corresponding physiological measurement record of the plurality of physiological measurement records; store the plurality of physiological measurements, and the plurality of orientation images, and the association data on a data repository; retrieve from the data repository, based on the association data, a selected physiological measurement record anti at least one matching orientation image; and display the at least one matching orientation image in combination with providing information of the selected physiological measurement record.
9 . The system according to claim 8 , wherein the plurality of physiological measurements acquired at different positions with respect to the body of the patient are directed to .
10 . The system according to claim 8 , wherein the data repository is a tangible memory.

The system according to claim 8 , wherein the retrieving step includes: (a) display a plurality of orientation images associated with different physiological measurement records; (b) receive a selection indication indicative of a selection made by a user of at least one orientation image of the plurality of orientation images displayed; and (c) retrieve the physiological measurement records associated with the selected orientation image.

The system according to claim 8 , wherein the retrieving step includes: (a) display identifiers of physiological measurement records; (b) receive a election indication indicative of selection made by a user of an identifier of a physiological measurement record of the plurality of physiological measurement records; and (c) retrieve the physiological measurement record associated with the selected identifier.

The system according to claim 8 , wherein the displaying step includes: (a) a display a video including the plurality of orientation images; (b) retrieve from the data repository the physiological measurement records; and, (c) synchronize providing information of the different physiological measurement records with be displaying of the video, based on the association data.
14 . The system according to claim 8 , wherein the display of the at least one matching orientation image in combination with providing information of the selected physiological measurement record to u user is made through a user interface.
15 . A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having computer readable program code embodied therewith, executable by at least one processor to perform a method for measuring physiological monitoring comprising one or more components, the method comprising:
receiving (a) a plurality of physiological measurement records of a plurality of physiological measurements acquired at different positions with respect to a body of a patient by a portable measurement system, (b) for each of the physiological measurement records, a respective orientation image being indicative of a location of the portable measurement system with respect to the body of the patient at a time oi acquiring the respective physiological measurements, and (c) association data associating each orientation image with a corresponding physiological measurement record of the plurality of physiological measurement records; storing the plurality of physiological measurement records, the plurality of orientation images, and the association data on a data repository; retrieving from the data repository, based on the association data, a selected physiological measurement record and at least one matching orientation image; and, displaying the at least one matching orientation image in combination with providing information of the selected physiological measurement record.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
