Composition for relieving pain and preventing or alleviating stress-involved disease, comprising cannabis extract as active ingredient

Abstract

The present invention relates to a composition for relieving pain and preventing or alleviating a stress-involved disease, including a cannabis extract as an active ingredient, and may provide a composition for relieving pain and preventing or alleviating a stress-involved disease, which suppresses a cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 enzyme and simultaneously prevents dopamine and serotonin from being suppressed by using a cannabis extract.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A composition for relieving pain and preventing or alleviating a stress-involved disease, comprising a  cannabis  extract as an active ingredient. 
     
     
         2 . The composition of  claim 1 , wherein the  cannabis  extract comprises cannabinoids and terpene. 
     
     
         3 . The composition of  claim 1 , wherein the stress-involved disease is any one selected from the group consisting of stress, depression, and insomnia. 
     
     
         4 . The composition of  claim 1 , wherein the composition exhibits an effect of relieving pain by suppressing a cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 enzyme. 
     
     
         5 . The composition of  claim 1 , wherein the composition prevents dopamine and serotonin from being suppressed. 
     
     
         6 . The composition of  claim 1 , wherein the extract is extracted using an extraction solvent selected from the group consisting of water, C 1  to C 6  lower alcohols, and a mixture thereof. 
     
     
         7 . A functional food comprising the composition according to any one of  claims 1  to  5 . 
     
     
         8 . A skin external preparation comprising the composition according to any one of  claims 1  to  5 . 
     
     
         9 . A medicament comprising the composition according to any one of  claims 1  to  5 .
