The subject matter discloses a medical imaging device, comprising a handle adapted to operate and maneuver the medical imaging device, an elongated rigid shaft connected to the handle, and an extendible sleeve configured to cover at least a portion of the elongated rigid shaft. The extendible sleeve comprises a rigid section comprising at least one optical gear and an extendible section, wherein extending the extendible section pushes the rigid section along a longitudinal axis of the elongated rigid shaft, and wherein sliding the rigid section over the elongated shaft changes the at least one optical gear field of view to provide a different linear field of view in an object space

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A rigid elongated telescopic shaft of a medical imaging device, comprising one or more sections configured to be extended on a longitudinal axis of the rigid elongated shaft farther from a handle of the medical imaging device, and
at least one optical gear located in a distal tip of the rigid elongated telescopic shaft and configured to provide field of view for the medical imaging device.
2 . The rigid elongated telescopic shaft of claim 1 , wherein the distal tip is connected at a distal end of an inner shaft section of rigid shaft.
3 . The rigid elongated telescopic shaft of claim 1 , wherein the distal tip is connected at a distal end of an outer rigid shaft section of rigid shaft.
4 . The rigid elongated telescopic shaft of claim 2 , wherein the one or more section further comprising:
an inner shaft section located inside an outer rigid shaft section of the rigid elongated shaft telescopic and having a diameter fit to slide within the outer rigid shaft section; wherein the distal tip is connected at a distal end of the rigid telescopic shaft and wherein the at least one optical gear comprises:
a front optical gear placed on a front panel of distal tip and adapted to provide a front field of view for the medical imaging device,
at least one first side optical gear placed on a longitudinal side of the distal tip and adapted to provide a side field of view for the medical imaging device, and
at least one second side optical gear located at the opposite side of the at least one first side optical gear,
wherein the inner shaft section extends on the longitudinal axis of the rigid elongated shaft farther from a handle of the medical imaging device; and wherein the inner shaft section is configured to fully slide within the outer rigid shaft section such that the at least one side optical gear of distal tip is covered by the outer rigid shaft section.
5 . The rigid elongated telescopic shaft of claim 4 , wherein the inner shaft section further comprises two sections extending from the outer rigid shaft section such that a first section extends from the outer rigid shaft section, and a second section extends from the first section.
6 . The rigid elongated telescopic shaft of claim 4 , wherein the outer rigid shaft section is provided with a diameter between 2.5 to 20.0 millimeters.
7 . The rigid elongated telescopic shaft of claim 4 , further comprising an indicator coupled to the inner shaft section in proximity to the at least one side optical gear of the distal tip and configured to indicate a user of reaching proximity to the at least one side optical gear of distal tip.
8 . The rigid elongated telescopic shaft of claim 3 , wherein the inner shaft section is connected to a handle of the medical imaging device.
