Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 20 . (canceled)

         21 . A method of treating heart failure in a mammal, the method comprising administering an effective amount of a compound having the structure,

         or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
         wherein the compound is co-administered with an Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) inhibitor.

         22 . The method of claim 21 wherein the Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) Inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of Captopril, Enalapril, Fosinopril, Lisinopril, Perindopril, Quinapril, Ramipril, and Trandolapril.

         22 . The method of claim 21 wherein the mammal is suffering from or has suffered from heart failure.

         23 . The method of claim 21 wherein a mammal that is suffering from or has suffered from heart failure is selected for heart failure treatment and the compound is administered to the selected mammal.

         24 . The method of claim 21 wherein the mammal is identified as exhibiting congestive heart failure disorder having low cardiac output and/or low stroke volume.

         25 . The method of claim 21 wherein the mammal has suffered from congestive heart failure.

         26 . The method of claim 21 wherein the mammal has suffered from cardiogenic shock.

         27 . The method of claim 21 wherein the mammal is a human.

         28 . The method of claim 21 wherein the effective amount is from 0.01 to 10 mg/kg per day.

         29 . The method of claim 21 wherein the compound is comprised in a pharmaceutical composition further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

         30 . The method of claim 29 wherein the pharmaceutical composition is formulated for administering purposes in a capsule, a tablet, a gel, a powder, liquid, suspension or emulsion.
