Remotely identifying a location of a wearable apparatus
Abstract
A wearable apparatus and methods may analyze images. In one implementation, a wearable apparatus for capturing and processing images may comprise a wearable image sensor configured to capture a plurality of images from an environment of a user of the wearable apparatus and at least one processing device. The at least one processing device may be programmed to: analyze the plurality of images to identify a plurality of people; analyze the plurality of images to determine an affinity level between the user and each of the plurality of people; obtain an image representation of each of the plurality of people; and generate, based on the affinity levels, a visualization comprising the image representation
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 216 . (canceled)
217 . A wearable apparatus, the wearable apparatus comprising:
a wearable image sensor configured to capture a plurality of images; and at least one processor programmed to:
receive, from a mobile communications device wirelessly paired with the wearable apparatus, a command to provide location information for the wearable apparatus, the command having been transmitted in response to a user input at the mobile communications device to ping the wearable apparatus;
capture, using the wearable image sensor, one or more images; and
transmit the one or more captured images to the mobile communications device in response to the received command to provide location information for the wearable apparatus.
218 . The wearable apparatus of claim 217 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to transmit location data associated with the wearable apparatus to the mobile communications device.
219 . The wearable apparatus of claim 218 , wherein the location data comprises global positioning system (GPS) coordinates.
220 . The wearable apparatus of claim 218 , wherein the location data comprises a proximity of the wearable apparatus to the mobile communications device.
221 . The wearable apparatus of claim 218 , wherein the location data comprises a distance from a reference point.
222 . The wearable apparatus of claim 218 , wherein the location data comprises a position of the user relative to the wearable apparatus.
223 . The wearable apparatus of claim 217 , wherein the at least on processor is further programmed to:
capture, by the wearable apparatus, audio data; and transmit the audio data to the mobile communications device.
224 . The wearable apparatus of claim 217 , wherein the mobile communications device is configured to audibly output the position of the user relative to the wearable apparatus
225 . The wearable apparatus of claim 217 , wherein the one or more images are captured using at least one capture parameter.
226 . The wearable apparatus of claim 225 , wherein the at least one capture parameter comprises at least one of an angle parameter, a zoom parameter, or a brightness parameter.
227 . The wearable apparatus of claim 217 , wherein the wearable apparatus comprises a housing with a curved portion.
228 . The wearable apparatus of claim 217 , wherein the mobile communications device is configured to provide an audible description of the location of the wearable apparatus.
229 . The wearable apparatus of claim 228 , wherein the audible description includes spoken words specifying the location of the wearable apparatus.
230 . The wearable apparatus of claim 217 , wherein the mobile communications device is configured to provide text output of the location of the wearable apparatus.
231 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing instructions that when executed by at least one processor cause the at least one processor to perform a method, the method comprising:
receiving, from a mobile communications device wirelessly paired with a wearable apparatus, a command to provide location information for the wearable apparatus, the command having been transmitted in response to a user input at the mobile communications device to ping the wearable apparatus; capturing, using the wearable image sensor, one or more images; and transmitting the one or more captured images to the mobile communications device in response to the received command to provide location information for the wearable apparatus.
232 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 231 , further comprising transmitting location data associated with the wearable apparatus to the mobile communications device.
233 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 232 , wherein the location data comprises a proximity of the wearable apparatus to the mobile communications device.
234 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 231 , wherein the one or more images are captured using at least one capture parameter.
235 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 234 , wherein the at least one capture parameter comprises at least one of an angle parameter, a zoom parameter, or a brightness parameter.
236 . A method for locating a wearable apparatus, the method comprising:
receiving, from a mobile communications device wirelessly paired with the wearable apparatus, a command to provide location information for the wearable apparatus, the command having been transmitted in response to a user input at the mobile communications device to ping the wearable apparatus; capturing, using the wearable image sensor, one or more images; and transmitting the one or more captured images to the mobile communications device in response to the received command to provide location information for the wearable apparatus.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
