Drug compositions

Abstract

Described herein are pharmaceutical compositions including a proton pump inhibitor and an antiparasitic drug. Methods using the compositions are also described.

We claim: 
     
         1 . A treatment system including:
 an oral syringe including a composition including omeprazole and fenbendazole in a melted base agent.   
     
     
         2 . The treatment system of  claim 1 , further including a wetting agent. 
     
     
         3 . The treatment system of  claim 2 , wherein the wetting agent is a polyethylene glycol. 
     
     
         4 . The treatment system of  claim 1 , further including sodium sulfite, sodium bicarbonate, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         5 . The treatment system of  claim 1 , further including carboxymethyl cellulose. 
     
     
         6 . The treatment system of  claim 1 , further including a flavoring agent. 
     
     
         7 . The treatment system of  claim 1 , wherein the melted base agent is carboxymethyl cellulose. 
     
     
         8 . The treatment system of  claim 1 , wherein the oral syringe is a dial-a-dose oral syringe. 
     
     
         9 . The treatment system of  claim 1 , wherein the oral syringe is a 30 mL oral syringe. 
     
     
         10 . A method of increasing performance of a mammal, the method comprising:
 administering a composition including omeprazole and fenbendazole formulated in a melted base agent to the mammal, and   increasing the performance.   
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the administration is oral. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the administration is ingestion. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the administration is inhalation. 
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the mammal is an athlete. 
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 14 , wherein the athlete is a race horse, race camel, race dog, racing human, jumping horse, jumping camel, jumping dog, jumping human, dancing horse, dancing camel, dancing dog, or dancing human. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the mammal is a humans, horse, camel, dog, cat, cow, bear, rodent, oxen, bison, buffalo, caribou, moose, deer, elk, sheep, goat, pig, rabbit, pouched mammal, primate, or carnivore. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the administering is for less than about 30 days. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the administering is for less than about 14 days. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the administering is once daily. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein the administering is twice daily.
