Abstract
Systems and methods for detecting presence of a thing, the thing treated with a descenter, one method including in an area in which it is possible that a thing treated with a descenter is present, using a detector to detect a descenter level in the area, producing a detected descenter level, comparing the detected descenter level to a normal descenter level for the area, determining that the detected descenter level is different from the normal descenter level, said determining indicating the possible presence of a thing treated with a descenter; and using a trained service animal to facilitate such a method.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method for removing scent, the method comprising:
positioning one or more parts of a human body within an interior space of a bag, wherein the interior space is operably coupled to an oxidizing gas generator; and introducing an oxidizing gas into the interior space from the oxidizing gas generator to at least reduce odors from the contents of the bag.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein positioning one or more parts of a human body within an interior space of a bag includes positioning clothing within the interior space of the bag.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein introducing an oxidizing gas into the interior space to at least reduce odors from the contents of the bag includes removing at least some odors from the clothing.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein introducing an oxidizing gas into the interior space includes introducing ozone into the interior space.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein introducing an oxidizing gas into the interior space to at least reduce odors from the contents of the bag includes introducing the oxidizing gas prior to a hunt for an animal.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the oxidizing gas generator includes an ozone generator, and wherein introducing an oxidizing gas into the interior space includes introducing ozone into interior space.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising removing the clothing from the bag.
8 . A method for removing scent, the method comprising:
positioning one or more parts of a human body within an interior space of a bag, at least some of the one or more parts having clothing thereon, wherein the interior space is operably coupled to an ozone generator; and introducing ozone into the interior space to at least reduce odors from the clothing in the bag.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein introducing ozone into the interior space includes generating the ozone by the ozone generator and flowing the generated ozone into the interior space.
10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein introducing ozone into the interior space includes introducing the ozone prior to a hunt for an animal.
11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein introducing ozone into the interior space includes introducing ozone into the interior space in a sufficient quantity so as to retain ozone on the clothing.
12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein introducing ozone into the interior space includes introducing ozone into the interior space at a rate of up to 8000 mg/hr.
13 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising placing the ozone generator in fluid communication with the interior space prior to introducing ozone into the interior space.
14 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising removing the clothing from the bag.
15 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising participating in a hunt after introducing an ozone into the interior space.Cited by (0)
