Abstract

A device for replaying audio data including data sets of separately readable ordered data sequences to be replayed and including a loudspeaker or a loudspeaker connection, a sensor that can detect within a region of its surroundings a property or a change in a property of the surroundings, a control unit that can drive the loudspeaker or the loudspeaker connection for replaying audio data, where the control unit, in response to a select signal from the sensor, generates a command to jump to a next one of the separately readable ordered data sequences to be replayed.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 12 . (canceled)

         13 . A removable identification article for a device, comprising:
 an antenna; a transmitter coupled to the antenna; non-volatile memory storing identification data for the removable identification article; and a control unit coupled to the antenna, the transmitter, and the non-volatile memory, wherein the control unit configured to: transmit the identification data by the transmitter via the antenna to the device; wherein the device is configured to play a media file upon detection of the removable identification article.

         14 . The article of  claim 13 , wherein the removable identification article includes operating elements for adjusting a parameter of playback by the device;
 and wherein the control unit is configured to, upon receipt of signals indicative of actuation of the operating elements, transmit adjustment data by the transmitter via the antenna to the device.

         15 . The article of claim 14 , wherein the removable identification article is shaped like a human figure or an animal figure, and wherein the operating elements comprise one or more of arms, legs, and a head of the human figure of the animal figure.

         16 . The article of claim 13 , wherein the removable identification article is shaped like a particular individual; and
 wherein the device is configured to, responsive to detection of the removable identification article, play a media file including information corresponding to the particular individual.

         17 . The article of claim 14 , wherein the media file includes at least one of audio data, image data, and video data defining one or more records with chapters of separately readable ordered data sequences; and
 wherein, when playing said at least one media file including at least one of audio data, image data, and video data defining one or more records with chapters of separately readable ordered data sequences, the control unit, in response to a select signal indicative of actuation of one of said operating elements, generates a command to jump to a next or a previous chapter of said separately readable ordered data sequences to be replayed.

         18 . The article of claim 17 , wherein the control unit is operative to interrupt replay of said media file and generate a command to immediately jump to another one of said separately readable ordered data sequences of said media file in response to a user operation detected by said sensor.

         19 . (canceled)
