Image forming system, image forming apparatus, and program
Abstract
There is a need to prevent the amount of information about read images from increasing excessively, improve the productivity, and reduce the storage capacity to store read images. There is provided a level setter that sets a level of accuracy for an image inspection process. An inspection image data generator generates inspection image data by using a resolution or a gradation setting corresponding to a level set by the level setter. A comparison image data generator generates comparison image data by using a resolution or a gradation setting corresponding to a level set by the level setter. Lowering a level set by the level setter decreases the amount of the inspection image data and the comparison image data.

6 . An image inspection apparatus comprising:
an acquiring unit configured to acquire a read-image that is generated by reading an image formed on a recording medium; a processor that performs an inspection of an image flaw in the read-image based on the acquired read-image; and a reception unit configured to receive a setting of a level of the inspection, wherein the image flaw includes a plurality of types of flaws, and the reception unit receives the setting of the level of the inspection for each type of the plurality of types of flaws.
7 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the processor performs the inspection by comparing an inspection image and the read-image.
8 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the reception unit receives one of a plurality of levels that are predetermined, for each type of the plurality of types of flaws.
9 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the level represents information for discriminating an inspection accuracy.
10 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein the inspection image is generated by reading an image formed on a second recording medium that is different from the recording medium.
11 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein the inspection image is image data generated based on document data.
12 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the plurality of types of flaws includes a circular stain and a linear stain.
13 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the reception unit is a display unit that displays a setting concerning the inspection.
14 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the image inspection apparatus is an image reading apparatus, and the acquiring unit is an image reader that reads the image formed on the recording medium and generates the read-image.
15 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the image inspection apparatus is an image forming apparatus including an image former that forms the image on the recording medium.
16 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the image inspection apparatus is an image forming apparatus, and the acquiring unit is an image reader that reads the image formed on the recording medium and generates the read-image.
17 . The image inspection apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the image inspection apparatus is an image forming apparatus, and the reception unit is an operation panel.
18 . A non-transitory recording medium storing a computer readable program causing a computer to perform:
an acquiring step of acquiring read-image that is generated by reading an image formed on a recording medium; an inspecting step of performing an inspection of an image flaw in the read-image based on the acquired read-image; and a receiving step of receiving a setting of a level of the inspection, wherein the image flaw includes a plurality of types of flaws, and in the receiving step, the setting of the level of the inspection is received for each type of the plurality of types of flaws.
19 . The non-transitory recording medium according to claim 18 , wherein in the inspecting step, the inspection of the image flaw is performed by comparing an inspection image and the read-image.
20 . The non-transitory recording medium according to claim 18 , wherein in the receiving step, the setting of one of a plurality of levels that are predetermined is received for each type of the plurality of types of flaws.
21 . The non-transitory recording medium according to claim 18 , wherein the level represents information for discriminating an inspection accuracy.
22 . The non-transitory recording medium according to claim 18 , wherein the plurality of types of flaws includes a circular stain and a linear stain.
23 . A method for inspecting an image by an image inspection apparatus, comprising:
an acquiring step of acquiring read-image that is generated by reading an image formed on a recording medium; an inspecting step of performing an inspection of an image flaw in the read-image based on the acquired read-image; and a receiving step of receiving a setting of a level of the inspection, wherein the image flaw includes a plurality of types of flaws, and in the receiving step, the setting of the level of the inspection is received for each type of the plurality of types of flaws.
24 . An image forming system comprising:
an image former configured to form an image on a recording medium; an image reader configured to read the image formed on the recording medium and generate read-image; a processor that performs an inspection of an image flaw in the read-image based on the read-image; and a reception unit configured to receive a setting of a level of the inspection, wherein the image flaw includes a plurality of types of flaws, and the reception unit receives the setting of the level of the inspection for each type of the plurality of types of flaws.
25 . The image forming system according to claim 24 , wherein the processor performs the inspection by comparing an inspection image and the read-image.
26 . The image forming system according to claim 24 , wherein the reception unit receives the setting of one of a plurality of levels that are predetermined, for each type of the plurality of types of flaws.
27 . The image forming system according to claim 24 , wherein the level represents information for discriminating an inspection accuracy.Cited by (0)
