Abstract

Systems and methods for reserving products, events, or services that have limited availability are provided. A product reservation system may be used to announce the availability of limited availability products. The announcements may be at times unknown to consumers. Consumers may participate in a product drawing session to submit one or more reservation requests for limited availability products being offered during the session.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . An apparatus comprising:
one or more processors; and memory storing computer executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus at least to:
 receive a plurality of reservation requests from a plurality of users;
 determine, using geographic locations associated with each of a first set of users of the plurality of users, a second set of users of the plurality of users;
determine, based on the received reservation requests associated with the second set of users, one or more winners of a drawing for a product; and
send a notification to one or more electronic devices associated with the one or more winners of the drawing.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
determine, based on purchase history information, the plurality of users; and broadcast a message to the plurality of users, wherein the message indicates an opportunity to participate in the drawing.

3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to determine the one or more winners of a drawing for a product by:
obtaining athletic activity data associated with the second set of users; and determining, based on the athletic activity data, one or more users, of the second set of users, that satisfied a threshold level of activity.

4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
determine, based on the one or more winners, updated inventory data for the product; and send, to a remote computing device, the updated inventory data.

5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
send, based on a first user of the plurality of users achieving an activity milestone, a message to the first user, wherein the message indicates an opportunity to participate in the drawing.

6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the activity milestone comprises exceeding at least one of a first threshold level of activity points or a first threshold level of athletic activity.

7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
determine that a threshold number of reservations requests associated with the second set of users have been received during a predetermined time period.

8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
selectively determine at least a first user, of the plurality of users, to receive a message indicating an opportunity to participate in the drawing based on a threshold proximity of the first user to a first location.

         9 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a computing device, a plurality of reservation requests from a plurality of users; determining, using geographic locations associated with each of a first set of users of the plurality of users, a second set of users of the plurality of users; determining, based on the received reservation requests associated with the second set of users, one or more winners of a drawing for a product; and sending, by the computing device, a notification to one or more electronic devices associated with the one or more winners of the drawing.

10 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
determining, based on purchase history information, the plurality of users; and broadcasting a message to the plurality of users, wherein the message indicates an opportunity to participate in the drawing.

11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein determining the one or more winners of a drawing for a product further comprises:
obtaining athletic activity data associated with the second set of users; and determining, based on the athletic activity data, one or more users, of the second set of users, that satisfied a threshold level of activity.

12 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
determining that a threshold number of reservations requests associated with the second set of users have been received during a predetermined time period.

13 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
determining, based on the one or more winners, updated inventory data for the product; and sending, to a remote computing device, the updated inventory data.

14 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
send, based on a first user of the plurality of users achieving an activity milestone, a message to the first user, wherein the message indicates an opportunity to participate in the drawing.

15 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
determining at least a first user, of the plurality of users, to receive a message indicating an opportunity to participate in the drawing based on a threshold proximity of the first user to a first location.

16 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer executable instructions that, when executed, cause an apparatus at least to:
receive a plurality of reservation requests from a plurality of users; determine, using geographic locations associated with each of a first set of users of the plurality of users, a second set of users of the plurality of users; determine, based on the received reservation requests associated with the second set of users, one or more winners of a drawing for a product; and send a notification to one or more electronic devices associated with the one or more winners of the drawing.

17 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed, cause the apparatus to:
determine, based on purchase history information, the plurality of users; and broadcast a message to the plurality of users, wherein the message indicates an opportunity to participate in the drawing.

18 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed, cause the apparatus to determine the one or more winners of a drawing for a product by:
obtaining athletic activity data associated with the second set of users; and determining, based on the athletic activity data, one or more users, of the second set of users, that satisfied a threshold level of activity.

19 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed, cause the apparatus to:
determine that a threshold number of reservations requests associated with the second set of users have been received during a predetermined time period.

20 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the computer executable instructions, when executed, cause the apparatus to:
determine, based on the one or more winners, updated inventory data for the product; and send, to a remote computing device, the updated inventory data.
least one of a first threshold level of activity points or a first threshold level of athletic activity.
