Abstract
A pump control system receives inputs from a low level fluid level sensor, a high level fluid level sensor, and/or a temperature sensor. Based on inputs from the sensors, and in response to sensed trouble conditions, duplex pumping or pump specific simplex operation is restricted based on past and present pump current draws. Furthermore, using the temperature sensor and a temperature sensor output device, the temperature of the sump environment can be monitored at will from a remote location.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 13 . (canceled)
14 . A pump control system comprising:
control circuits capable of connection to a power source and a displaced electronic device; first and second water level sensors coupled to the control circuits; an environmental sensor output device capable of connection to a power source and a displaced electronic device located remotely from the pump, and capable of transmitting signals to and receiving signals from the displaced electronic device; wherein the environmental sensor output device communicates a value measured by the environmental sensor upon receipt of a signal from the displaced electronic device.
15 . The pump control system as in claim 14 comprising a plurality of environmental sensors.
16 . The pump control system as in claim 14 comprising a plurality of environmental sensor output devices, each environmental sensor output device communicating a value measured by at least one environmental sensor.
