Abstract
A target shooting system is described. The system can include at least one target signal/sensor assembly, the target signal/sensor assembly including an active target signal, an active target signal actuator, at least one hit sensor, and a target signal/sensor transceiver. The system can also include a round counter configured to be attached to a weapon and to sense firing of a projectile from the weapon, the round counter including a projectile firing sensor, a round counter processor and a round counter transceiver. The system can further include a computing device configured to communicate with the at least one target signal/sensor assembly and the round counter.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A modular interactive assembly configured to be removably attached to a target, the modular interactive assembly comprising:
an active target indicator configured to indicate whether the target is an active target or an inactive target; at least one hit sensor configured to detect when the target is struck by a projectile; and a target assembly transceiver in communication with the active target indicator and the at least one hit sensor, wherein the target assembly transceiver is configured to receive data from and transmit data to a computing device, wherein the interactive target feedback assembly is removable from the target and attachable to a second target.
2 . The modular interactive assembly of claim 1 , wherein the active target indicator includes a light emitting device.
3 . The modular interactive assembly of claim 1 , wherein the active target indicator includes an LED light.
4 . The modular interactive assembly of claim 1 , wherein the active target indicator includes a filament bulb.
5 . The modular interactive assembly of claim 1 , wherein the active target indicator includes a strobe light.
6 . The modular interactive assembly of claim 1 , wherein the active target indicator is not in a line of sight of a user.
7 . The modular interactive assembly of claim 1 further comprising a magnet, a fastener, chemically welded hardware, hook-and-loop tape, nails, adhesive, a cradle with adhesive, a clamp, or a bracket configured to removably associate the modular interactive target feedback assembly with the target.
8 . A modular target shooting system comprising:
a first target; a modular interactive assembly of claim 1 removably associated with the first target; a computing device in communication with the modular interactive target feedback assembly and configured to:
provide an output signal to the modular interactive assembly to activate or deactivate the active target indicator;
receive an input signal from the modular interactive assembly indicating whether the first target has been struck by a projectile during a time period during which the active target indicator is activated; and
calculate and display results and statistics for an iteration of target shooting based on the input signal.
9 . The modular target system of claim 8 , wherein the active target indicator of the modular interactive assembly includes a light emitting device.
10 . The modular target system of claim 8 , wherein the active target indicator of the modular interactive assembly includes an LED light.
11 . The modular target system of claim 8 , wherein the active target indicator of the modular interactive assembly includes a filament bulb.
12 . The modular target system of claim 8 , wherein the active target indicator of the modular interactive assembly includes a strobe light.
13 . The modular target system of claim 8 , wherein the active target indicator of the modular interactive assembly includes not in a line of sight of a user.
14 . The target shooting system of claim 8 , wherein the modular interactive assembly further comprises a magnet, a fastener, chemically welded hardware, hook-and-loop tape, nails, adhesive, a cradle with adhesive, a clamp, or a bracket configured to removably associate the modular interactive assembly with the associated target.
15 . The target shooting system of claim 8 further comprising a second target, wherein the modular interactive assembly is configured to be removed from the first target and removably associated with the second target.Cited by (0)
