Abstract

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods of control access to a controlled-access area. In one embodiment the method includes analyzing health data corresponding to a user to determine that the health data satisfies a health standard for an organization controlling the access-controlled location and the health data was captured at a sensing location offsite from the access-controlled location. In one embodiment the method includes determining that the user has authorization from the organization to enter the access-controlled location; and authorizing the user to enter the access-controlled location.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1 . A method for providing access to an access-controlled location comprising:
analyzing health data corresponding to a user to determine that the health data satisfies a health standard for an organization controlling the access-controlled location and the health data was captured at a sensing location offsite from the access-controlled location; determining that the user has authorization from the organization to enter the access-controlled location; and authorizing the user to enter the access-controlled location.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensing location is outside of at least one building that falls within the access-controlled location.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the authorization is valid for a time frame.

4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the time frame corresponds to a travel time from the sensing location to the access-controlled location.

5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting a notification to the user regarding the authorization.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensing location is determined based on location data transmitted with the health data from a user device.

7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising analyzing the location data transmitted with the health data to confirm that the health data was captured at the sensing location.

8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein determining that the user has authorization from the organization to enter the access-controlled location, further comprises determining, based on the location data, that the user has not entered into a zone of elevated infection risk for a disease within an evaluation time frame.

9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising analyzing identification data corresponding to the user, wherein the identification data is captured at, and transmitted from, the sensing location with the health data, and the identification data is used to determine that the health data belongs to the user and that the user is authorized by the organization to enter the access-controlled location.

10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the health data indicates at least one of a febrile condition, a loss of a sense of taste, a loss of a sense of smell, or a pulse oxidation of the user.

12 . A system for providing access to an access-controlled location comprising one or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media, the media encoded with instructions for performing operations comprising:
analyzing health data corresponding to a user to determine that the health data satisfies a health standard for an organization controlling the access-controlled location and the health data was captured at a sensing location offsite from the access-controlled location; determining that the user has authorization from the organization to enter the access-controlled location; and authorizing the user to enter the access-controlled location.

13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the sensing location is outside of at least one building that falls within the access-controlled location.

14 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the authorization is valid for a time frame, wherein the time frame corresponds to a travel time from the sensing location to the access-controlled location.

15 . The system of claim 12 , further comprising transmitting a notification to the user regarding the authorization.

16 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the sensing location is determined based on location data transmitted with the health data from a user device.

17 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising analyzing the location data transmitted with the health data to confirm that the health data was captured at the sensing location.

18 . A method for providing access to an access-controlled location comprising:
receiving location data of a user from a mobile device associated with the user; determining, based on the location data, that the user has not entered into a zone of elevated infection risk for a disease within an evaluation time frame; and determining that the user satisfies a first organizational standard for the evaluation time frame; transmitting a notification to the mobile device, the notification indicating authorization of the user to access the access-controlled location.

19 . The method of claim 18 , further comprising:
receiving health data indicative of health of the user transmitted from the mobile device when the mobile device is positioned at an offsite area located outside of the access-controlled location; analyzing the health data to determine that the health data satisfies a second organization standard; and transmitting the notification to the mobile device only when the first organizational standard and the second organization standard are satisfied.

20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the zone of elevated infection risk is determined by location data confirming that the user is present within a location with a prevalence of a first disease and the evaluation time frame is less than an incubation period for the disease.
