Abstract
Disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, are recombinant Arc and endogenous Gag polypeptides, and methods of using recombinant Arc and endogenous Gag polypeptides.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. A composition comprising an endogenous Gag (endo-Gag) polypeptide and a nucleic acid molecule that encodes an antigen.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the endo-Gag polypeptide assembles into an endo-Gag capsid.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the nucleic acid molecule is an mRNA.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the nucleic acid molecule comprises a modified base.
. The composition of claim 1 , further comprising a delivery component.
. The composition of claim 5 , wherein the delivery component comprises a liposome or a micelle.
. The composition of claim 5 , wherein the delivery component comprises a microvesicle or a viral envelope.
. The composition of claim 5 , wherein the delivery component comprises a fusogenic molecule.
. The composition of claim 5 , wherein the delivery component comprises a cell-specific binding protein or an engineered protein that binds to an antigen or cell surface molecule.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the endo-Gag polypeptide is a Paraneoplastic Ma antigen family polypeptide.
. The composition of claim 1 , wherein the endogenous Gag polypeptide is a retrotransposon Gag-like family polypeptide.
. The composition of claim 11 , wherein the retrotransposon Gag-like family polypeptide is a PEG10 polypeptide.
. A method of eliciting an immune response in a subject comprising administering to the subject a composition comprising an endo-Gag polypeptide and a nucleic acid molecule that encodes an antigen.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the immune response comprises a B cell response.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the immune response comprises a T cell response.
. The method of claim 15 , wherein the T cell response comprises a CD4+ T cell response, a CD8+ T cell response, a Th1 immune response, a Th2 immune response, a Th17 immune response, a Treg immune response, or a combination thereof.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the endo-Gag polypeptide is assembled into an endo-Gag capsid.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the nucleic acid molecule is an mRNA.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the nucleic acid molecule comprises a modified base.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the composition further comprises a delivery component.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein the delivery component comprises a liposome or a micelle.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein the delivery component comprises a microvesicle or a viral envelope.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein the delivery component comprises a fusogenic molecule.
. The method of claim 20 , wherein the delivery component comprises a cell-specific binding protein or an engineered protein that binds to an antigen or cell surface molecule.
. The method of claim 24 , wherein the nucleic acid is delivered to a site of interest.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the endo-Gag polypeptide is a Paraneoplastic Ma antigen family polypeptide.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the endo-Gag polypeptide is a retrotransposon Gag-like family polypeptide.
. The method of claim 27 , wherein the retrotransposon Gag-like family polypeptide is a PEG10 polypeptide.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the nucleic acid molecule is delivered to a cell.
. The method of claim 29 , wherein the cell is a muscle cell, a skin cell, a blood cell, or an immune cell.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
