Abstract
The present invention relates to the application of a concentrate in diluted form. Subject matters of the present invention are a device and a method for application of a concentrate in diluted form. A further subject matter of the present invention is use of the device according to the invention in the area of agriculture, in particular for treating cultivated plants with plant protection agents and/or nutrients.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A device for application of a concentrate in diluted form, the device comprising:
at least one concentrate line to transport at least one concentrate from a respective concentrate container into the device; a container comprising a diluent for diluting the at least one concentrate; at least one outlet; and at least one pressure regulator to drive the at least one concentrate through the at least one concentrate line and to drive the diluent through a diluent line in the direction of the at least one outlet, wherein the at least one concentrate line is adapted to inject the at least one concentrate into a flow of the diluent to facilitate mixing by generating turbulence of the concentrate in the diluent.
2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one concentrate line is further adapted to inject the at least one concentrate into the flow of the diluent immediately upstream from the at least one outlet.
3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein after an application, at least a portion of a residual amount of concentrate remaining in the at least one concentrate line is recycled to the respective concentrate container.
4 . The device of claim 1 , wherein after an application, an entire amount of a residual amount of concentrate remaining in the at least one concentrate line is recycled to the respective container.
5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the device is configured to recycle a residual amount of concentrate remaining in the at least one concentrate line using a gaseous flushing agent.
6 . The device of claim 1 , wherein residual amounts remaining in each concentrate container after an application are determined and recorded in a memory unit that is connected to the respective concentrate container.
7 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the concentrate is an active ingredient formulation that is applied to a field in which cultivated plants are grown.
8 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the concentrate comprises a plant protection agent selected from one or more of an herbicide, a fungicide, or an insecticide.
9 . The device of claim 1 , wherein a diluent is present that comprises one or a plurality of nutrients for cultivated plants.
10 . A device for application of a concentrate in diluted form, the device comprising:
at least one concentrate line to transport at least one concentrate from a respective concentrate container into the device; a container comprising a diluent for diluting the at least one concentrate; at least one outlet; and at least one pressure regulator to drive the at least one concentrate through the at least one concentrate line and to drive the diluent through a diluent line in the direction of the at least one outlet, wherein the at least one concentrate line is adapted to inject the at least one concentrate into the flow of the diluent immediately upstream from the at least one outlet, and wherein after an application, at least a portion of a residual amount of concentrate remaining in the at least one concentrate line is recycled to the respective concentrate container.
11 . The device of claim 10 , wherein the at least one concentrate line is adapted to inject the at least one concentrate into the flow of the diluent to facilitate mixing by generating turbulence of the concentrate in the diluent.
12 . The device of claim 11 , further comprising:
a memory unit in which the residual amount of concentrate remaining in the respective concentrate container and a recycled amount of concentrate after an application of a concentrate is stored.
13 . A method for application of a concentrate in diluted form, the method comprising:
transporting a concentrate from a plurality of concentrate containers through at least one concentrate line in the direction of at least one outlet; injecting the concentrate into a flow of a diluent to facilitate mixing by generating turbulence of the concentrate in the diluent; and applying the concentrate diluted with the diluent.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein injecting the concentrate into the flow of the diluent comprises injecting the concentrate into the flow of the diluent immediately upstream from the at least one outlet.
15 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
after an application, recycling at least a portion of a residual amount of concentrate in the at least one concentrate line to a respective concentrate container.
16 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
recycling a residual amount of concentrate remaining in the at least one concentrate line using a gaseous flushing agent.
17 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
determining and recording, in one or more memory units connected to the plurality of concentrate containers, residual amounts remaining in the at least one concentrate container after an application.
18 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the concentrate is an active ingredient formulation that is applied to a field in which cultivated plants are grown.
19 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the concentrate comprises a plant protection agent selected from one or more of an herbicide, a fungicide, or an insecticide.
20 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the diluent comprises one or a plurality of nutrients for cultivated plants.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
