Abstract
A closure for a flexible thin-walled packaging is provided. The closure has a rigid overcap, applicable directly or indirectly to a spout of the flexible thin-walled packaging, made of a first plastic material, a collar suitable for being inserted on a grip portion of the spout, and a flexible lace connecting the collar to the rigid overcap. The flexible lace is made by bi-injection, together with the overcap and the collar, of a second plastic material, different from the first plastic material.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 8 . (canceled)
9 . A closure for a flexible thin-walled packaging, the closure comprising:
a rigid overcap, directly or indirectly applicable to a spout of the flexible thin-walled packaging, the rigid overcap comprising an annular overcap wall extending along a main axis (X) between an overcap base and an overcap wall edge, said annular overcap wall being made of a first plastic material; a collar, coaxial to the annular overcap wall, suitable for being inserted on a grip portion of the spout so as to remain axially bound to the grip portion; and a flexible lace connecting the collar to the annular overcap wall; said rigid overcap further comprising a plurality of fins, protruding radially externally from the annular overcap wall, an annular grip wall, continuous or in sections, made integral with the annular overcap wall by said fins, by virtue of the fins, the annular grip wall being radially spaced from the annular overcap wall, forming axial anti-suffocation passages, wherein said flexible lace is made by bi-injection, together with the annular overcap wall and the collar, of a second plastic material, different from the first plastic material.
10 . The closure of claim 9 , wherein the annular overcap wall is made in one piece with the collar.
11 . The closure of claim 10 , wherein the annular overcap wall and the collar are connected by a breakable guarantee seal.
12 . The closure of claim 9 , further comprising a closure body provided with an annular body wall extending along said main axis (X) between a closure base and a body wall edge, said closure body being at least partially housed in a closure compartment delimited by the annular overcap wall, so as to be bound to the annular overcap wall axially and in rotation.
13 . The closure of claim 12 , wherein the body wall edge is elastically deformed and housed within the collar.
14 . The closure of claim 12 , wherein the annular overcap wall and the collar are connected by a breakable guarantee seal, and wherein, in a configuration where the breakable guarantee seal is broken and the collar is axially separated from the annular overcap wall, the body wall edge of the closure body emerges from the collar and tends to return to an undeformed condition, widening outwards.
15 . A spout-closure assembly comprising:
a spout for a flexible thin-walled packaging; and a closure according to claim 9 , applied to the spout.
16 . A flexible thin-walled packaging comprising a spout-closure assembly according to claim 15 .Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
