Abstract

A combination comprising a multi-site contact fungicide, a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicide and a second systemic fungicide and a method using the same.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A fungicidal combination comprising at least one multi-site contact fungicide, a first systemic fungicide; and a second systemic fungicide; wherein:
the multi-site contact fungicide is sulfur; the first systemic fungicide is a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor; and the second systemic fungicide is selected from an ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor, a quinone outside inhibitor, and a respiration process inhibitor fungicide.

2 . The fungicidal combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of benodanil, flutolanil, mepronil, fluopyram, fenfuram, carboxin, oxycarboxin, thifluzamide, bixafen, fluxapyroxad, furametpyr, isopyrazam, penflufen, penthiopyrad, sedaxane and boscalid.

3 . The fungicidal combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the
 (i) the quinone outside inhibitor is selected from fenamidone, famoxadone, azoxystrobin, mandestrobin, coumoxystrobin, enoxastrobin, flufenoxystrobin, pyraoxystrobin, dimoxystrobin, enestrobin, fluoxastrobin, kresoxim-methyl, metominostrobin, orysastrobin, picoxystrobin, pyrametostrobin, triclopyricarb, fenaminstrobin, pyraclostrobin and trifloxystrobin; (ii) the ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor is selected from triflumizole, triforine, pyridinitrile, pyrifenox, fenarimol, nuarimol, triarimol, climbazole, clotrimazole, imazalil, oxpoconazole, prochloraz, prochloraz-manganese, triflumizole, azaconazole, bitertanol, bromuconazole, cyproconazole, diclobutrazol, difenoconazole, diniconazole, diniconazole-M, epoxiconazole, etaconazole, fenbuconazole, fluotrimazole, fluquinconazole, flusilazole, flutriafol, furconazole, furconazole-cis, hexaconazole, imibenconazole, ipconazole, metconazole, myclobutanil, pencoconazole, propiconazole, prothioconazole, quinconazole, simeconazole, tebuconazole, tetraconazole, triadimefon, triadimenol, triticonazole, uniconazole, perfurazoate and uniconazole-P; and (iii) the respiration process inhibitor fungicide is selected from cyazofamid and amisulbrom.

4 . The fungicidal combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the
 (i) the succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor selected from the group consisting of thifluzamide, bixafen, fluxapyroxad, isopyrazam, penthiopyrad, and boscalid. (ii) the quinone outside inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of azoxystrobin, fluoxastrobin, kresoxim-methyl, picoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin and trifloxystrobin; and (iii) the ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor is selected from cyproconazole, difenoconazole, epoxiconazole, hexaconazole, prothioconazole, tebuconazole, and tetraconazole.

5 . The fungicidal combination as claimed in claim 1 , comprising sulfur, prothioconazole, and bixafen.

6 . The fungicidal combination as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the combination is admixed in ratio of (1-80):(1-80):(1-80) of sulfur:first systemic fungicide:second systemic fungicide.

7 . The fungicidal composition as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising at least one agrochemically acceptable excipient.

8 . The fungicidal composition as claimed in claim 7 , further comprising at least one additional fungicide.

9 . The fungicidal composition as claimed in claim 8 , further comprising at least two additional fungicides.

10 . The fungicidal composition as claimed in claim 1 , wherein, the composition is formulated into a wettable powder, granules, dust, a soluble (liquid) concentrate, a suspension concentrate, an oil in water emulsion, a water in oil emulsion, an emulsifiable concentrates, a capsule suspensions, a ZC formulations, or an oil dispersion.

11 . A method of treating a plant, comprising applying the fungicidal composition of claim 1 to the foliage of the plant or a plant propagation material.

12 . A method of controlling fungal disease in a plant comprising applying to the locus of the plant the fungicidal combination as claimed in claim 1 .

13 . The composition as claimed in claim 7 , further comprising at least one additional agrochemical active that is not a fungicide.

14 . The composition as claimed in claim 14 , wherein the additional agrochemical active is selected from herbicides, insecticides, miticides, acaricide, fertilizers, plant growth regulators, biocides and combinations thereof.
