Abstract

An excimer bulb assembly, with an excimer bulb, at least one integral captured reflector, and an integral filter such that the excimer bulb only emits substantial UV radiation between 200 nm and 230 nm, using a filter that passes light from about 200 nm to 234 nm (+/−2 nm).

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An excimer bulb assembly, with an excimer bulb, at least one integral captured reflector, and an integral filter such that said excimer bulb only emits substantial UV radiation between 200 nm and 230 nm, using a filter that passes light from 200 nm to 234 nm. 
     
     
         2 . The excimer bulb assembly of  claim 1  has 3 integral captured reflectors. 
     
     
         3 . The excimer bulb assembly of  claim 1  wherein said integral filter is plated onto said excimer bulb. 
     
     
         4 . The excimer bulb assembly of  claim 1  wherein said at least one captured reflector is plated onto said excimer bulb. 
     
     
         5 . The excimer bulb assembly of  claim 1  wherein said excimer bulb has an integral heatsink. 
     
     
         6 . The excimer bulb assembly of  claim 1  wherein all said components and at least two electrical connectors form a cartridge. 
     
     
         7 . The excimer bulb assembly of  claim 6  wherein said cartridge can swivel along its main axis. 
     
     
         8 . The excimer bulb assembly of  claim 6  wherein said cartridge has a smart chip. 
     
     
         9 . The excimer bulb assembly of  claim 8  wherein said smart chip retains hours of use. 
     
     
         10 . An excimer fixture that emits substantial UV radiation between 200 nm and 230 nm, with a power supply that powers the one or more excimer bulbs with pulse wave power. 
     
     
         11 . An excimer fixture that emits substantial UV radiation between 200 nm and 230 nm, with a power supply that powers the one or more excimer bulbs, wherein said one or more excimer bulbs dim on command. 
     
     
         12 . The excimer fixture of  claim 11  wherein said power supply has communication with the internet. 
     
     
         13 . An excimer bulb, in communication with a power supply wherein said bulb sends encrypted information to said power supply. Said power supply authenticates said information and then powers said bulb.
