Abstract
A propulsion strengthening member attached to a surface of an object existing in outer space, the propulsion strengthening member includes: a transparent member that transmits an emitted laser; and an opaque member that is provided between the transparent member and the object and absorbs the laser such that at least a part thereof is evaporated by energy of the laser.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A propulsion strengthening member attached to a surface of an object existing in outer space, the propulsion strengthening member comprising:
a transparent member that transmits an emitted laser; and an opaque member that is provided between the transparent member and the object and absorbs the laser such that at least a part thereof is evaporated by energy of the laser.
2 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 1 , wherein at least one transparent member and at least one opaque member are stacked alternately.
3 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 1 , wherein a plurality of the transparent members are provided in the opaque member.
4 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 1 , wherein the transparent member is a sheet-form member.
5 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 1 , wherein the transparent member is a spherical member.
6 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 1 , wherein the transparent member is formed from fluororesin.
7 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 1 , further comprising a protective member provided on at least one face on surfaces of the propulsion strengthening member.
8 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 7 , wherein the protective member has a light-blocking property for blocking sunlight.
9 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 7 , wherein the protective member is resistant to atomic oxygen.
10 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 9 , wherein at least a part of the protective member is formed from fluororesin.
11 . The propulsion strengthening member according to claim 1 , wherein a symbol for identifying the propulsion strengthening member is applied to the surface of the propulsion strengthening member.Cited by (0)
