Beverage Packaging
Abstract
The invention refers to a beverage packaging for receiving liquid product, the beverage package comprising an insertion area for inserting a drinking straw (1, 12, 19, 28, 40, 70, 90, 94) and the drinking straw. The drinking straw comprises a tubular straw member (3, 14, 22, 30, 42, 71, 80) comprising a straw wall (4, 15, 23, 31, 43, 72, 85), an inlet (5, 16, 24, 32, 44, 73, 83) to be placed into the beverage packaging and an outlet (6, 74, 81) to be placed outside the beverage packaging. On an outer surface of the straw wall, at least one locking catch (2, 13, 21, 27, 29, 41, 76, 87, 91) is provided which is connected to the outer surface of the straw wall towards the inlet and which is spaced from the outer surface of the straw wall towards the outlet, wherein the at least one locking catch is spaced from the inlet along a longitudinal axis (8, 39, 48, 86) of the drinking straw by a maximum of 30% of a length (l) of the drinking straw.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A beverage packaging for receiving liquid product, wherein the beverage packaging comprises a drinking straw and an insertion area for inserting the drinking straw and the drinking,
wherein the drinking straw comprises a tubular straw member comprising a straw wall, an inlet to be placed into the beverage packaging and an outlet to be placed outside the beverage packaging, wherein at least one locking catch is provided on an outer surface of the straw wall and which towards the inlet is connected to the outer surface of the straw wall, and which towards the outlet is spaced from the outer surface of the straw wall, wherein the least one locking catch is spaced from the inlet by a distance along a longitudinal axis of the drinking straw of a maximum of 30% of a length of the drinking straw.
2 . The beverage packaging according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one locking catch is a spread-off part of the straw wall.
3 . The beverage packaging according to claim 1 , wherein the drinking straw and the beverage packaging are formed in such a way that when the drinking straw is inserted into the beverage packaging the locking catch is completely inserted into the beverage package, and when an attempt is made to pull the drinking straw out of the beverage packaging, it deforms so as to prevent removal of the drinking straw.
4 . The beverage packaging according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one locking catch is an element inserted and fastened into a cut of the straw wall.
5 . The beverage package according to claim 4 , the element comprising a first part extending into an interior area of the straw member and a second part extending outside the straw member.
6 . The beverage packaging according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one locking catch comprises a first part that is fixed to the outer surface of the straw wall and from which extends a second part of the locking catch which is spaced towards the outlet from the outer surface of the straw wall.
7 . The beverage packaging according to claim 6 , wherein the first part starts at the inlet and extends from the inlet towards the outlet.
8 . The beverage packaging according to claim 7 , wherein the inlet comprises an insertion tip.
9 . The beverage packaging according to claim 8 , wherein the at least one locking catch is manufactured by an injection molding process.
10 . The beverage packaging according to claim 1 , wherein the drinking straw or straw member is manufactured by injection molding.
11 . The beverage packaging according to claim 1 , wherein a cross-sectional area of the straw member is round, oval, triangular or square.
12 . The beverage packaging according to claim 11 , wherein a cross-sectional area of the insertion area and a cross-sectional area of the straw member are substantially equal, taking into account a wall thickness of the straw wall.
13 . The beverage packaging according to claim 12 , wherein the insertion area is surrounded by a reinforced portion.
14 . The beverage packaging according to claim 1 , wherein the beverage packaging is formed as a drinks carton, foil pouch or stand-up pouch.
15 . The beverage packaging according to claim 3 , wherein the drinking straw and the beverage packaging are formed in such a way that when the drinking straw is inserted into the beverage packaging the locking catch is completely inserted into the beverage package, and when an attempt is made to pull the drinking straw out of the beverage packaging, it deforms by kinking the end of the drinking straw provided at the inlet of the drinking straw so as to prevent pulling the drinking straw out of the beverage packaging.
16 . The beverage packaging according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one locking catch is an element inserted and fastened into a cut of the straw wall, wherein the cut extends perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis along a circumferential portion of the straw wall.
17 . The beverage package according to claim 5 , wherein the first part comprises a cut-out adapted to allow liquid passage in the interior area of the straw member.
18 . The beverage packaging according to claim 9 , wherein the at least one catch is manufactured by an injection molding process separately from the straw member and clipped, welded or sealed to the straw member.
19 . The beverage packaging according to 12 , wherein the cross-sectional area of the insertion area is from about 1% to about 100% or from about 30% to about 70% greater than the cross-sectional area of the straw member, taking into account the wall thickness of the straw wall.
20 . The beverage packaging according to claim 19 , wherein the insertion area is surrounded by a reinforced portion.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
