Liquid Dispensing Hairbrush Apparatus

Abstract

A liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus for evenly and easily distributing liquid hair product through hair while brushing includes a brush handle having a handle sidewall, a handle top end, and an open handle bottom end defining a handle reservoir. A cap is selectively engageable with the handle bottom end. A brush head is coupled to the handle top end. A head front side has a plurality of dispense apertures extending through to the head inside. A plurality of bristles is coupled to the head front side. A bladder is coupled to the brush head within the head inside and is in fluid communication with the plurality of dispense apertures. A pump is coupled within the brush and has an actuator button extending through the handle sidewall to pump liquid from the handle reservoir to the bladder.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus comprising:
 a brush handle, the brush handle having a handle sidewall, a handle top end, and an open handle bottom end defining a handle reservoir, the handle top end having a feed aperture extending through to the handle reservoir;   a cap coupled to the brush handle, the cap being selectively engageable with the handle bottom end;   a brush head coupled to the brush handle, the brush head having a head front side, a head back side, and a head perimeter defining a head inside, the head perimeter being coupled to the handle top end, the head front side having a plurality of dispense apertures extending through to the head inside;   a plurality of bristles coupled to the brush head, the plurality of bristles being coupled to the head front side;   a bladder coupled to the brush head within the head inside, the bladder being in fluid communication with the plurality of dispense apertures; and   a pump coupled to the brush handle within the handle reservoir proximal the handle top end, the pump having a feed tube extending through the feed aperture to the bladder and a draw tube extending towards the handle bottom end, the pump having an actuator button extending through the handle sidewall.   
     
     
         2 . The liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising a rubberized grip coupled to the handle sidewall. 
     
     
         3 . The liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising each bristle having a spherical tip portion. 
     
     
         4 . The liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising the cap being threadably engageable with the handle bottom end. 
     
     
         5 . The liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising the brush head being ovular. 
     
     
         6 . The liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising the head front side having a raised portion, the plurality of dispense apertures extending through the raised portion. 
     
     
         7 . The liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus of  claim 6  further comprising the raised portion having a rounded edge portion. 
     
     
         8 . The liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising the brush handle having a support portion extending onto the head back side. 
     
     
         9 . A liquid dispensing hairbrush apparatus comprising:
 a brush handle, the brush handle having a handle sidewall, a handle top end, and an open handle bottom end defining a handle reservoir, the handle top end having a feed aperture extending through to the handle reservoir;   a rubberized grip coupled to the handle sidewall;   a cap coupled to the brush handle, the cap being selectively engageable with the handle bottom end, the cap being threadably engageable with the handle bottom end;   a brush head coupled to the brush handle, the brush head being ovular, the brush head having a head front side, a head back side, and a head perimeter defining a head inside, the head perimeter being coupled to the handle top end, the head front side having a raised portion, a plurality of dispense apertures extending through the raised portion to the head inside, the raised portion having a rounded edge portion;   a plurality of bristles coupled to the brush head, the plurality of bristles being coupled to the head front side, each bristle having a spherical tip portion;   a bladder coupled to the brush head within the head inside, the bladder being in fluid communication with the plurality of dispense apertures; and   a pump coupled to the brush handle within the handle reservoir proximal the handle top end, the pump having a feed tube extending through the feed aperture to the bladder and a draw tube extending towards the handle bottom end, the pump having an actuator button extending through the handle sidewall.
