Abstract

An indication of an action is received through and application program interface (API) provided by one or more hardware processing devices. The action corresponds to communication with a specified party. Multiple disparate tables stored in at least one database of a of a database environment associated with the one or more hardware processing devices are searched for records having the field property corresponding to the specified party. The field property from the corresponding multiple disparate tables are evaluated. A unified field property is determined based on the evaluation of the field property from the corresponding multiple disparate tables. The unified field property is returned through the API.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 .- 24 . (canceled)

         25 . A method comprising:
searching, with one or more hardware processing devices, multiple disparate tables stored in at least one database for records having consent information for a particular individual such that a set of records having consent information for the particular individual is identified, the identified set of records including records stored within more than one of the multiple disparate tables; evaluating, with the one or more hardware processing devices, the consent information for the particular individual based on the identified set of records; determining, with the one or more hardware processing devices; a unified consent result based on the evaluation of the consent information for the particular individual; and returning, with the one or more hardware processing devices, the unified consent result, the unified consent result indicating whether a particular action is allowed.

26 . The method of claim 25 , the particular action including one or more of: tracking web activities of the particular individual, tracking email activities of the particular individual, or tracking a geographic location of the particular individual.

27 . The method of claim 25 , the particular action pertaining to contact information of the particular individual.

28 . The method of claim 25 , the particular action including contacting the individual via contact information associated with the individual.

29 . The method of claim 28 , the contact information including a phone number or email address.

30 . The method of claim 25 , wherein the particular action comprises one or more of: profiling, exporting data, forgetting a user profile, deleting a user profile, or storing personally identifiable information (PII).

31 . The method of claim 25 , the set of records being associated with a tenant of a multi-tenant database system.

32 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, are configurable to cause the one or more processors to:
search, with one or more hardware processing devices, multiple disparate tables stored in at least one database for records having consent information for a particular individual such that a set of records having consent information for the particular individual is identified, the identified set of records including records stored within more than one of the multiple disparate tables: evaluate, with the one or more hardware processing devices, the consent information for the particular individual based on the identified set of records; determine, with the one or more hardware processing devices, a unified consent result based on the evaluation of the consent information for the particular individual; and return, with the one or more hardware processing devices, the unified consent result, the unified consent result indicating whether a particular action is allowed.

33 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 32 , the particular action including one or more of: tracking web activities of the particular individual, tracking email activities of the particular individual, or tracking a geographic location of the particular individual.

34 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 32 , the particular action pertaining to contact information of the particular individual.

35 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 32 , the particular action including contacting the individual via contact information associated with the individual.

36 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , the contact information including a phone number or email address.

37 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 32 , wherein the particular action comprises one or more of: profiling, exporting data, forgetting a user profile, deleting a user profile, soliciting, or storing personally identifiable information (PII).

         38 . A system, comprising:
a database system implemented using a server system including at least one processor, the database system configurable to cause: searching, with one or more hardware processing devices, multiple disparate tables stored in at least one database for records having consent information for a particular individual such that a set of records having consent information for the particular individual is identified, the identified set of records including records stored within more than one of the multiple disparate tables; evaluating, with the one or more hardware processing devices, the consent information for the particular individual based on the identified set of records; determining, with the one or more hardware processing devices, a unified consent result based on the evaluation of the consent information for the particular individual; and returning, with the one or more hardware processing devices, the unified consent result, the unified consent result indicating whether a particular action is allowed.

39 . The system of claim 38 , the particular action including one or more of: tracking web activities of the particular individual, tracking email activities of the particular individual, or tracking a geographic location of the particular individual.

40 . The system of claim 38 , the particular action pertaining to contact information of the particular individual.

41 . The system of claim 38 , the particular action including contacting the individual via contact information associated with the individual.

42 . The system of claim 41 , the contact information including a phone number or email address.

43 . The system of claim 38 , wherein the particular action comprises one or more of: profiling, exporting data, forgetting a user profile, deleting a user profile, soliciting, or storing personally identifiable information (PII).

44 . The system of claim 38 , the set of records being associated with a tenant of a multi-tenant database system.
