Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for folding a container including a bottom plate, a top plate, and side wall panels provided between the bottom plate and the top plate, in which the side wall panels include a front panel, a rear panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel, and the method includes a first step of coupling forks of a forklift to coupling members provided on an upper surface of the top plate, a second step of, with the forklift, completely separating the top plate to above the side wall panel; a third step of rotating a first torsion bar provided at a lower end of the first side panel to fold the first side panel, a fourth step of rotating a second torsion bar provided at a lower end of the second side panel to fold the second side panel on top of the first side panel, a fifth step of rotating third and fourth torsion bars provided at lower ends of the front panel and the rear panel, respectively to rotate and fold the front panel and the rear panel, and a sixth step of, with the forklift, coupling the top plate.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for folding a container comprising a bottom plate, a top plate, and side wall panels provided between the bottom plate and the top plate, wherein the side wall panels include a front panel, a rear panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel, and the method comprises:
a first step of coupling forks of a forklift to coupling members provided on an upper surface of the top plate; a second step of, with the forklift, completely separating the top plate to above the side wall panel; a third step of rotating a first torsion bar provided at a lower end of the first side panel to fold the first side panel; a fourth step of rotating a second torsion bar provided at a lower end of the second side panel to fold the second side panel on top of the first side panel; a fifth step of rotating third and fourth torsion bars provided at lower ends of the front panel and the rear panel, respectively to rotate and fold the front panel and the rear panel; and a sixth step of, with forklift, coupling the top plate.

2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein,
in the fourth step, the third and fourth torsion bars are arranged on the bottom plate in a transverse direction, while being provided further inside from front and rear ends of the bottom plate by a predetermined interval, and reference axes of rotation operations of the front panel and the rear panel are the third and fourth torsion bars, respectively.

3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein, in the fifth step, in the process of rotating the front panel and the rear panel, the third and fourth torsion bars are in a non-twisted state at a time point when the post coupling point ( 220 ) is positioned directly above the bottom plate coupling point ( 210 ).

4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein
there are provided corner support members having an L-shape formed vertically at four corners of the bottom plate to support the corners of posts (P) of the front panel and the rear panel when the container is in an unfolded state, the corner support members are formed to protrude higher than the front panel and the rear panel while the front panel and the rear panel are folded in the fifth step, and in the sixth step, the four corners of the top plate are seated on the corner support members.

5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein a vertical height when the container is in a folded state is ¼ of a vertical height when the container is in an unfolded state.

6 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein
there are provided corner support members having an L-shape formed vertically at four corners of the bottom plate to support the corners of posts (P) of the front panel and the rear panel when the container is in an unfolded state, the corner support members are formed to protrude higher than the front panel and the rear panel while the front panel and the rear panel are folded in the fifth step, and in the sixth step, the four corners of the top plate are seated on the corner support members.

7 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein a vertical height when the container is in a folded state is ¼ of a vertical height when the container is in an unfolded state.
