Abstract
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a network parameter associated with a first network device. The first network device transmits a first portion of a first group of wireless signals associated with the first network device to a first group of communication devices located in a first geographical area. Further embodiments can include detecting a second group of communication devices in a second geographical area, and determining the network parameter does not exceed a network parameter threshold resulting in a first determination. Additional embodiments can include amplifying a second portion of the first group of wireless signals associated with the first network device based on the first determination resulting in a first group of amplified wireless signals, and transmitting the first group of amplified wireless signals to a first portion of the second group of communication devices. Other embodiments are disclosed.

1 . A first repeater, comprising:
a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the first repeater, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:
receiving a first indication from a second repeater that indicates to amplify a first portion of a first group of wireless signals from a first network device, wherein the second repeater determines that a first network parameter associated with a second network device exceeds a first network parameter threshold;
obtaining the first portion of the first group of wireless signals from the first network device;
amplifying the first portion of the first group of wireless signals resulting in a first group of amplified wireless signals; and
transmitting the first group of amplified wireless signals to a first group of communication devices.
2 . The first repeater of claim 1 , wherein the operations comprise:
receiving a second indication from the second repeater that indicates ceasing to amplify the first portion of the first group of wireless signals, wherein the second repeater determines that the first network parameter does not exceed the first network parameter threshold; and ceasing the amplifying of the first portion of the first group of wireless signals.
3 . The first repeater of claim 1 , wherein the operations comprise:
detecting a second network parameter associated with the first network device exceeds a second network parameter threshold; obtaining a second portion of the first group of wireless signals from the first network device; amplifying the second portion of the first group of wireless signals resulting in a second group of amplified wireless signals; and transmitting the second group of amplified wireless signals to a second group of communication devices.
4 . The first repeater of claim 3 , wherein the operations comprise:
detecting that the second network parameter does not exceed the second network parameter threshold; and ceasing the amplifying of the second portion of the first group of wireless signals.
5 . The first repeater of claim 1 , wherein the operations comprise:
detecting a third network parameter associated with the first network device exceeds a third network parameter threshold; and providing a third indication to the second repeater that indicates to amplify a first portion of a second group of wireless signals from the second network device, wherein the second repeater obtains the first portion of the second group of wireless signals from the second network device, wherein the second repeater amplifies the first portion of the second group of wireless signals resulting in a third group of amplified wireless signals, wherein the second repeater transmits the third group of amplified wireless signals to a third group of communication devices.
6 . The first repeater of claim 5 , wherein the operations comprise:
detecting that the third network parameter does not exceed the third network parameter threshold; and providing a fourth indication to the second repeater that indicates to cease the amplifying of the first portion of the second group of wireless signals, wherein the second repeater ceases to amplify the second group of wireless signals.
7 . The first repeater of claim 5 , wherein the second repeater detect a fourth network parameter exceeds a fourth network parameter threshold, wherein the second repeater obtains a second portion of the second group of wireless signals from the second network device, wherein the second repeater amplifies the second portion of the second group of wireless signals resulting in a fourth group of amplified wireless signals, wherein the second repeater transmits the fourth group of amplified wireless signals to a fourth group of communication devices.
8 . The first repeater of claim 7 , wherein the second repeater detects that the fourth network parameter does not exceed the fourth network parameter threshold, wherein the second repeater ceases the amplifying of the second portion of the second group of wireless signals.
9 . The first repeater of claim 7 , wherein the first group of communication devices is associated with a first geographical area and the fourth group of communication devices is associated with a second geographical area.

The first repeater of claim 1 , wherein the first network parameter comprises one of throughput, amount of network traffic, amount of communication devices connected, available bandwidth, key performance indicator (KPI), or any combination thereof, wherein the first network parameter threshold comprises one of a throughput threshold, an amount of network traffic threshold, an amount of connected communication devices threshold, available bandwidth threshold, key performance indicator (KPI) threshold, or any combination thereof.
11 . The first repeater of claim 1 , wherein each of the first network device and the second network device is one of a base station, node, network access point, or 5G millimeter wave node.
12 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a first repeater including a processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:
detecting a first network parameter associated with a first network device exceeds a first network parameter threshold, wherein the first repeater is communicatively coupled to the first network device; and providing a first indication to a second repeater that indicates to amplify a first portion of a first group of wireless signals from a second network device, wherein the second repeater obtains the first portion of the first group of wireless signals from the second network device, wherein the second repeater amplifies the first portion of the first group of wireless signals resulting in a first group of amplified wireless signals, wherein the second repeater transmits the first group of amplified wireless signals to a first group of communication devices.
13 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 12 , wherein the operations comprise:
detecting that the first network parameter does not exceed the first network parameter threshold; and providing a second indication to the second repeater that indicates to cease amplifying the first portion of the first group of wireless signals from the second network device, wherein the second repeater cease to amplify the first portion of the first group of wireless signals.
14 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 12 , wherein the operations comprise:
receiving a third indication from the second repeater that indicates to amplify a first portion of a second group of wireless signals from the first network device, wherein the second repeater determines that a second network parameter associated with the second network device exceeds a second network parameter threshold; obtaining the first portion of the second group of wireless signals from the first network device; amplifying the first portion of the second group of wireless signals resulting in a second group of amplified wireless signals; and transmitting the second group of amplified wireless signals to a second group of communication devices.
15 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the operations comprise:
receiving a fourth indication from the second repeater that indicates to cease amplifying the first portion of the second group of wireless signals, wherein the second repeater determines that the second network parameter associated with the second network device does not exceed the second network parameter threshold; and ceasing the amplifying the first portion of the second group of wireless signals.
16 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the first group of communication devices is associated with a first geographical area and the second group of communication devices is associated with a second geographical area.

The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 14 , wherein each of the first network parameter and the second network parameter comprises one of throughput, amount of network traffic, amount of communication devices connected, available bandwidth, key performance indicator (KPI), or any combination thereof, wherein each of the first network parameter threshold and the second network parameter threshold comprises one of a throughput threshold, an amount of network traffic threshold, an amount of connected communication devices threshold, available bandwidth threshold, key performance indicator (KPI) threshold, or any combination thereof.
18 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 12 , wherein each of the first network device and the second network device is one of a base station, node, network access point, or 5G millimeter wave node.
19 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a first repeater including a processor, a first indication from a second repeater that indicates to amplify a first portion of a first group of wireless signals from a first network device, wherein the second repeater determines that a first network parameter associated with a second network device exceeds a first network parameter threshold; obtaining, by the first repeater, the first portion of the first group of wireless signals from the first network device; amplifying, by the first repeater, the first portion of the first group of wireless signals resulting in a first group of amplified wireless signals; transmitting, by the first repeater, the first group of amplified wireless signals to a first group of communication devices; receiving, by the first repeater, a second indication from the second repeater that indicates ceasing to amplify the first portion of the first group of wireless signals, wherein the second repeater determines that the first network parameter does not exceed the first network parameter threshold; and ceasing, by the first repeater, the amplifying of the first portion of the first group of wireless signals.
20 . The method of claim 19 , comprising:
detecting, by the first repeater, a second network parameter associated with the first network device exceeds a second network parameter threshold; obtaining, by the first repeater, a second portion of the first group of wireless signals from the first network device; amplifying, by the first repeater, the second portion of the first group of wireless signals resulting in a second group of amplified wireless signals; transmitting, by the first repeater, the second group of amplified wireless signals to a second group of communication devices; detecting, by the first repeater, that the second network parameter does not exceed the second network parameter threshold; and ceasing, by the first repeater, the amplifying of the second portion of the first group of wireless signals.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
