Abstract

Methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed for file vault and cloud based document notary service. An example method includes receiving a first document from a first node associated with a first party and a second document from a second node associated with a second party, the first and second nodes remotely coupled to the at least one processor via a network, storing the first and second documents in at a non-volatile machine accessible medium coupled to the processor, the first and second documents respectively assigned to first and second document identifiers, receiving a first request to access the first document, the first request corresponding to the first document identifier, receiving a first authorization from a third node, associated with a third party, that is remotely coupled to the at least one processor via the network, and granting the first request based on the first authorization and the first document identifier.

Claims

1 . (canceled)

         2 . A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium that includes instructions, that when executed by a secure data vault system processor at a first node, cause the secure data vault system processor to:
 cause a storage of a plurality of security credentials, each of the plurality of security credentials associated with a payor customer; automatically retrieve one or more first account documents associated with the payor customer from a first payee system at a second node, the automatic retrieval responsive to a successful validation of a first security credential associated with the payor customer by the first payee system; and cause an automatic storage of the one or more first account documents from the first payee system and associated with the payor customer.

         3 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 2 , wherein the instructions cause the secure data vault system processor to:
 establish a cooperation between the secure data vault system and the payee system, the relationship to facilitate the communication of first account documents from the payee system to the secure data vault system.

         4 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 3 , wherein the instructions cause the secure data vault system processor to:
 cause the secure data storage system to form the cooperation with the payee system responsive to receipt of a request by the payor customer.

         5 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 2 , wherein the instructions cause the secure data vault system processor to:
 automatically organize the first account documents from the payee system.

         6 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 2 , wherein the instructions that cause the secure data vault system processor to automatically retrieve one or more first account documents associated with the payor customer from a first payee system at a second node, the automatic retrieval responsive to a successful validation of a first security credential associated with the payor customer by the first payee system cause the secure data vault system processor to:
 automatically retrieve one or more billing statements associated with the payor customer from the payee system.

         7 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 2 , wherein the instructions cause the secure data vault system processor to:
 cause a storage of a second plurality of security credentials, each of the second plurality of security credentials associated with a second payor customer; automatically retrieve one or more second account documents associated with the second payor customer from the first payee system at the second node, the automatic retrieval responsive to a successful validation of a second security credential associated with the second payor customer by the first payee system; and cause an automatic storage of the one or more second account documents from the first payee system and associated with the second payor customer.

         8 . A secure data storage vault system comprising: at least one processor;
 at least one non-transitory machine-readable storage medium that includes instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the processor to:
 cause a storage of a plurality of security credentials, each of the plurality of security credentials associated with a payor customer;
 automatically retrieve one or more first account documents associated with the payor customer from a first payee system at a second node, the automatic retrieval responsive to a successful validation of a first security credential associated with the payor customer by the first payee system; and
 cause an automatic storage of the one or more first account documents from the first payee system and associated with the payor customer.

         9 . The secure data storage vault system of claim 8 wherein the instructions cause the at least one processor to:
 establish a cooperation between the secure data vault system and the payee system, the relationship to facilitate the communication of first account documents from the payee system to the secure data vault system.

         10 . The secure data storage vault system of claim 9 wherein the instructions cause the at least one processor to:
 cause the secure data storage system to form the cooperation with the payee system responsive to receipt of a request by the payor customer.

         11 . The secure data storage vault system of claim 8 wherein the instructions cause the at least one processor to:
 automatically organize the first account documents from the payee system.

         12 . The secure data storage vault system of claim 8 wherein the instructions that cause the at least one processor to automatically retrieve one or more first account documents associated with the payor customer from a first payee system at a second node cause the at least one processor to:
 automatically retrieve one or more billing statements associated with the payor customer from the payee system.

         13 . The secure data storage vault system of claim 8 , wherein the instructions cause the secure data vault system processor to:
 cause a storage of a second plurality of security credentials, each of the second plurality of security credentials associated with a second payor customer; automatically retrieve one or more second account documents associated with the second payor customer from the first payee system at the second node, the automatic retrieval responsive to a successful validation of a second security credential associated with the second payor customer by the first payee system; and cause an automatic storage of the one or more second account documents from the first payee system and associated with the second payor customer.

         14 . A method, comprising:
 causing a secure data storage system processor at a first node to store a plurality of security credentials, each of the plurality of security credentials associated with a payor customer; automatically retrieving, by the secure data storage system processor, one or more first account documents associated with the payor customer from a first payee system at a second node, the automatic retrieval responsive to a successful validation of a first security credential associated with the payor customer by the first payee system; and causing, by the secure data storage system processor, an automatic storage of the one or more first account documents from the first payee system and associated with the payor customer.

         15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:
 establishing, by the secure data storage system processor, a cooperation between the secure data vault system and the payee system, the relationship to facilitate the communication of first account documents from the payee system to the secure data vault system.

         16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:
 causing, by the secure data storage system processor, the secure data storage system to form the cooperation with the payee system responsive to receipt of a request by the payor customer.

         17 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:
 automatically organizing, by the secure data storage system processor, the first account documents from the payee system.

         18 . The method of claim 14 , wherein automatically retrieving one or more first account documents associated with the payor customer from a first payee system at a second node, the automatic retrieval responsive to a successful validation of a first security credential associated with the payor customer by the first payee system comprises:
